ETHAN TANNER KILLS OL' ORANGE ON BOUNTY HILL
Ethan Tanner is a Determined Man behind the wheel of Ol' Orange. He fought a stomach bug for 2 days and still made it to the Gorilla Run and gave it his all. He was on his way to climbing the Bounty Hill when his motor started acting up and wouldn't run. He lost his breaks on the way down and the rest is history. Ol' Orange has to be one of the Toughest Buggies ever built. Ethan ended up selling is just like it sat for a disclosed amount of Cash.
I can't wait to see what he shows up in Next!!!

**PLEASE READ BELOW**
Both driver and passenger are ok. EVO lost it's brakes coming into the corner. When you lose brakes, you do not "plan your line" for the corner. He took the same corner before this and would not try to make a turn like that on purpose.
I included the Mustang going through the water to show it DID NOT have an affect on the evo. The evo did NOT drive on any wet part of the track from the Mustangs splash prior to entering the corner. (Once the evo hit the inner edge of the corner, he was already going way too fast)

Finally got to take the car out with the new setup for 2011. Still getting used to everything. Shifts are a little slow as I was just working on getting it down the track nice and straight. I was blowing the tires off even in second gear. Buschur Power!!! I plan to get out soon and hopefully get that 8 second pass.

EDIT: Cars torn down for some maintenance & it had a blown headgasket, a STOCK head, and a few other small issues. Once it is back together it will be retuned at higher Boost so keep an eye out for the video.

WORLDS FASTEST AWD / 4G63 DATSUN / 20B RX7 IN TESTING
Willowbank Raceway held the 1st of the 2012 Top Sportman Series on the weekend. Reece McGregor and the Heat Treatments Skyline thought it would be a good chance to have some test runs in their worlds fastest RB26 powered 4wd skyline. The team worked hard all day and were rewarded with a final pass or 7.64, not far off their 7.56 record, although something tells me theres plenty more to come from this car again.
Another car using the test lane was Rob Novak in his Jett Racing 4G63 powered Datsun 1200. The team made adjustments through the day and saw a PB 7.35 @ 187mph on the second last pass of the night, the final wild pass on video then saw a transmission failure but a happy team none the less.
Final team testing was the Direct Clutch/Promodz Rx7, the car is 3/4 chassis and a running 3rotor 20BT tweaked by Mazfix. The team recently made adjustments in the rear and also in transmission and are starting to see results, it ran a 7.99 @ 171mph through the day, then later in the night suffered a leaking Boost pipe. Owners Jerry and Dan tell me they havent even started to push the motor yet, so another car with plenty more to come, and im sure that pb 7.80 will soon be slashed.
These cars should all be running at the up and coming Sydney Jamboree at WSID and by the looks of things have some unfinished business they want to take care of :)
