Abandoned in Japan: An American Muscle-car graveyard

I came across this bunch of rusting, American Muscle-cars a while back. There's classic Camaros, Mustangs (inc Mach 1) and a Trans-Am. So sad to see them rotting away. Saved from the Scrap Yard! Challengers, Chargers, RT's, Hemis even Winged Mopars!
Captain Right-time-right-place, strikes again! I was just out riding my bike when I saw this black Challenger on the back of a flat-bed truck. The owner was closing the gate and just about to set off when I leaped off my bike & pulled my camera out. It turns out he didn't just have one sweet Mopar (which happened to have a 426 Hemi) he had A GARAGE FULL OF THEM. It was all a bit of a blur and I was still puffing from having been riding, and then being gob-smacked, and then non-stop asking questions. I wasn't able to catch the whole story but it seems the Brisbane City (Australia) government had Assumed (confiscated/commandeered) his land and had to remove all of his possessions with in 30 days or lose it. Had he not done so, all would have been scrapped. If that had happened his only course of action would've been to sue the government to reclaim damages. That would really have sucked because the cash wouldn't have brought them back. Music Credit: Created by Dylan Benson, and used with permission and much appreciation. Abandoned Honda Integra DC2 Type R - Race-Spec and Mugen Accessorised
Okay, it's not really abandoned, but I stand by the claim that it is abandoned in spirit. It looks to be beyond its useful life span (with its current owner (whoever that may be.)) In this video you'll see it's more or less intact, it's just in rather rough condition. Could it be "saved"? I don't see why not. Will it be? I highly doubt it based on seeing time & time again cars in this situation just rot away to nothing. :( Wasabicars Homepage: http://wasabicars.com Grab a T-shirt: http://wasabicars.spreadshirt.com/ Music Credit: Created by Dylan Benson, and used with permission and much appreciation.
