The Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class is a new compact executive car on the platform of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class subcompact car and the Mercedes-Benz B-Class compact car debuting in 2013 as a 2014 model year vehicle[1] alongside the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class crossover SUV. Since Mercedes-Benz parent Daimler AG does not sell the Mercedes-Benz A-Class to the United States & Canada, it will be the smallest Mercedes-Benz offering in the United States apart from the Mercedes-Benz B-Class compact sold in Canada, and also, it will be sold only in sedan form. An AMG variant, the CLA 45 AMG 4MATIC, is also expected. It is a four-door concept vehicle with I4 turbocharged engine rated 211 PS (155 kW; 208 hp), all-wheel drive system 4MATIC, 7G-DCT dual clutch automatic transmission, diamond-look grille from Concept A-CLASS, Alubeam body colour, headlamps shining red at standby mode, indicators with individual points of light light up in succession, 21-inch wheels with perforated pins on the spokes, frameless side windows, panoramic roof, metallic-red colouring taillights, instrument panel upholstered in white nubuck leather, anthracite-coloured Alcantara on the upper section of the instrument panel, suede on the sports steering wheel, chrome trim elements and control panels in black anodised finish, surfaces around the HMI control panel in glossy shimmer of black anodised aluminium, four integral seats with integrated head restraints from Sports version of the new A-Class, air vents in the instrument panel from Concept A-CLASS. The vehicle was unveiled in Avant/Garde Diaries event in Los Angeles, followed by Auto China 2012. The vehicle, known by the model code of C 117, was unveiled at the 2013 North American International Auto Show, and is scheduled to be on sale by April 2013.[5] CLA 45 AMG (2013-) It included AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine, 4MATIC all wheel drive, SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission, AMG sports suspension with independently developed front and rear axles, electromechanical AMG speed-sensitive sports steering, AMG high-performance braking system, 3-stage ESP with "SPORT Handling" mode. It was here at the MOCA where Hollywood Stars and Art and Music fans alike packed in for this innovative and hip exhibition. Mercedes Benz brought it's highly anticipated Concept Style Coupe, a four door compact slated to have its world premiere at the up-coming Auto China. Geared for a younger audience, Mercedes has set a designing benchmark that continues to define the 21st century. The Avant Garde Diaries was started by Mercedes Benz in 2011. It aims to showcase innovators with extraordinary ideas through topics ranging from art, music, and fashion that shape social discussions and influence culture and future trends. And as many enthusiasts know, contemporary art and design can come in many shapes and forms.

Of course the concept of the Ener-G-Force for the Los Angeles Design Challenge is pure, rendered science fiction. However, the notion of designing tomorrow's off-roader fascinated the designers at the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studio in Carlsbad, California to such an extent that they evolved the vision of a police version into a civilian version and even built a 1:1-scale model. Like the "Highway Patrol Vehicle 2025", the shape of the civilian Ener-G-Force is modelled after the G-Class, the off-road icon whose continuous history goes all the way back to the 1970s and that to this very day still tackles the future as a stylistically and technologically advanced SUV. Like the police version, the model of the civilian Ener-G-Force is unmistakably inspired by the G-Class, which has long been considered an automotive icon. However, it presents a radical reinterpretation of this classic that looks far into the future. Important genes such as proportions and design elements were adopted conceptually and completely redesigned and updated in a clean concept for beyond tomorrow. Ener-G-Force Designer Hubert Lee: "Of course we wanted to take a clear step forward, but we also wanted the G's characteristic features". The Ener-G-Force has a similar profile, however with a high shoulder line and scaled-down glass areas. While the clear design idiom of the G-Class has remained, all surfaces are designed to express intensity and tension. The meticulously executed details also are a clear indication that the Ener-G-Force is the product of modern times. Like the G-Class, the Ener-G-Force sports a front with an expressive radiator grille that incorporates the headlamps. LEDs in the headlamps form lamp units in the shape of a G. This gives the Ener-G-Force a strong, iconic appearance and demonstrates dominance. The front indicators and position lights are mounted on top of the wings as a significant G-Class element. The mounted roof distinctive to the G-Class and the tripartite glass area also cite the fundamental genes of the classic off-roader from Mercedes-Benz, but represent a clear step forward. This is also evident in the large wheels, whose 20-inch rims give the Ener-G-Force a powerful, towering stance. The Ener-G-Force also plays on the utility factor in an entirely new way. For instance, the distinctive feature in the rear is a slightly off-centre pull-out compartment whose cover takes up the characteristic look of the spare wheel carrier of the classic G-Class. Mercedes has officially unveiled the 2014 S-Class at the Airbus A380 delivery center in Hamburg, Germany. Designed to become one of the most luxurious and advanced vehicles ever constructed, the 2014 S-Class has an evolutionary design that incorporates a sportier front fascia, a larger grille and a gentle slanting rear end. The sleek styling enables the model to have drag coefficient of 0.24 which is pretty impressive considering the pint-sized CLA has a drag coefficient of 0.23.

This entry-level luxury car features the aggressive and sporty design found on higher end Mercedes vehicles combined with a finely crafted luxury interior; all at a very affordable price tag of around $30,000. The 2014 Mercedes CLA-Class should be hitting dealer showrooms this fall. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class includes many features and options found on much more expensive luxury cars. The engine is a turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 208 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a dual-clutch 7-speed automatic. Outside the aggressive lines are not just for looks; instead they help with the aerodynamics of the car. LED daytime headlights are a staple in the luxury market and the CLA-Class sports some of the most beautiful lights found on any car. The front sport grille is very eyecatching with its silver-tipped studs. The large alloy wheels compliment the rest of the exterior. The 2014 Mercedes CLA is a significant vehicle for the Tri-Star brand. Basically the CLA has the Executive Premium Styling found in the CLS brought down to an entry level luxury car. The Mercedes CLA is the new baby of the bunch; it is essentially a CLS in a smaller package. The exterior is very stunning thanks to the muscular 4-door coupe styling. The CLA has a lot going on, it is very luxurious on the inside and it looks fantastic on the outside. The meat under the hood is a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine pushing out a little over 200 horsepower and 250 lb-ft. of torque. As awesome as the outside is, the interior is an excellent place to be. The gauges look futuristic, the seats are comfortable, and the backseats have plenty of room. All of this adds up to a very impressive package. This might be a very hot seller for Mercedes-Benz. Besides the exterior styling, that wonderful interior, and the excellent engine; is the price which starts at around $30k. This car is a stunner and should hit showrooms later this year.
