1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS All Street Project Car
This is my 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. I have owned this car for 13
years and it has been in the family for over 26 years. The car has just
under 29,000 original miles. The engine and drivetrain is all original as
well as the paint and interior. I didn't drive the car much, so I decided
to make a few subtle changes, mostly in the stance, so I would drive it
more. Just don't care for the stock stance on these cars. For the front I
used 2" drop Belltech spindles and 1" drop Belltech springs. For the rear I
used OPG 3" drop rear springs. 3" total drop front and rear. I used
Belltech Street Performance shocks on all four corners. The wheels are
Center Line Retros 18 x7 front, 18 x 8 rear. Nitto NT555 tires 225/45 in
the front, 255/45 in the rear. Also for a little more sound, I went with
Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers and custom tailpipes. I drive the car a lot
now just cause I enjoy it so much more. I didn't cut anything and I have
everything to put the car back original if I ever decide to in the future.
Thanks for looking!
Pro Toured 1984 Monte Carlo SS
My Dad and I built this car and have had it since it was brand new in '84.

1971 Monte Carlo with 454ci engine, 3" original Flowmaster 50 series mufflers, no tailpipes
This is my 1971 Monte Carlo. The video clip is for sound comparisons for
different Exhausts. The engine is
about 9:1 compression and has a small hydraulic roller cam (224/234 deg @
0.050", .527"/.544" lift). The intake is an Edelbrock RPM air gap, and the
carb is a 750 Mighty Demon mechanical Secondary. The headers are Hooker
Competition headers with 2" primaries and 3.5" collectors which go into 3"
dual Exhaust with 3" 50-Series
Flowmaster mufflers which end right before the rear end.

UPDATED Walk Around Video: http://youtu.be/IiUzc7DJBVY
Whhhheeewww.... This Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS was so nasty! And it was all
black. Doing a lil squat on some Forgiato 26's! Forgiato Linee wheels. You
don't see too many G-Body's sitting this good on a 26" rim! Interior was
black leather, and whatever was under the hood sounded like a monster. Also
peep the NICE brake kit he has on the front and back. Wish I woulda saw it
again later, but I never did sadly. So enjoy this quick video of a beast
