Chevrolet brengt de Cruze nogmaals onder de aandacht, maar nu als hatchback! Terwijl de sedan het in het buitenland uitstekend deed (bestverkochte model van Chevrolet), wilde het in ons land maar niet echt lukken. Daar moet met de hatchback eindelijk verandering in komen, want wij Nederlanders houden nu eenmaal, als het gaat om de compacte middenklasse, meer van vijfdeursauto's. In 2009 testten wij al eens de sedanversie van de Cruze en waren toen zeer gecharmeerd van z'n gespierde, volwassen uiterlijk en z'n value-for-money faktor.
