Freddie's Hobbies 2009 Freddie's 500
3rd Annual Freddie's 500. This is an annual race for ¼ scale radio controlled cars. We host it at Freddie's Hobbies located at 100 Romito Street in Ravenna, Ohio. ¼ scale racing is held all over the country at various racing facilities. This year I did not bring anything to the tables. But there was a ton of models and sorts of goodies. Venders where awesome. Next years theme is Resin Rules with a sub theme of VANS! How cool is that. Look for part 2.

1932 5 Window Ford Coupe Barn Find
Built "Highboy" style, weathered by the growing creativity of my skills. I used a weathering idea I read about in an article from Model Cars magazine done by Dr.Cranky.
This was my first attempt at wiring an engine, using picture frame hanging wire.
I won Juniors Best Rat Rods, Juniors Best Detail, and Best In Show in the "Intermediate Division" of the show I went to.
