Here I bring you the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in Torch Red with a Jet Black leather interior. I give a full walk-around and tour on the Z06 as well as start the engine, and go over a few of the major features and performance figures along the way.
The 2010 Corvette Z06 still retains the C6 chassis code that was introduced in 2006. The Z06 is one of the most powerful Corvettes to be produced and driven today, second best only to its new brother, the ZR1. The massive engine compartment, covered by the signature forward-hinged hood, houses a 7.0L LS7 V8 that pounds out a whopping 505 hp and 500 lb/ ft of torque. The 7.0L LS7 V8 is the largest V8 to ever be mass produced and built by GM for any car, and each engine is hand-built. Mated to a 6 speed manual transmission, 0-60 comes up in a screaming 4 seconds. The Z06's wide rear tires and rear mounted transmission give it enough grip to frighten even the most hardened of drivers. The Vette seems rather docile and quiet upon start up, but only due to the butterfly valves inside the Exhaust. Open the taps a little bit, and suddenly you are surrounded by a mass of explosive noise as the engine comes to life. All around, the Z06 is a one mean Vette you don't want to mess with, unless you want a massive thrashing!

These Corvettes were present at a Corvette C6 Z06 photoshoot. At the beginning of the day there was also a blue ZR1, but unfortunately he had to leave very early.. Most of the C6 Z06's are stock but some have some modifications like a different Exhaust system and other wheels.
