Fabricación del Renault Fluence en la fábrica Santa Isabel, Córdoba
La fabricación del Renault Fluence en Fábrica Santa Isabel significó la incorporación de nuevas tecnologías, especialmente en lo que se refiere a la parte electrónica del modelo. Esto nos obligó a capacitar a nuestros operadores en Turquía y adecuar nuestras líneas de montaje al proceso.
Inicialmente, éstas estaban separadas en dos partes, pero luego pudimos unificarla creando una sola línea denominada "Monoflux" que permite fabricar todos los modelos de la marca independientemente de la plataforma y complejidad de los mismos.
El Renault Fluence cuenta, a diferencia de los vehículos que fabricamos, con una nueva motorización 2 litros de 143 caballos; sin embargo, a pesar de semejante potencia, el nivel de insonorización del habitáculo es excelente, sin olvidarnos de la suspensión y el nivel de equipamiento interior que incluye en el alto de gama GPS y caja automática con la opción secuencial, entre otros.
Con Renault Fluence incorporamos toda la tecnología al servicio del conductor.

2013 Renault Fluence
New Renault Fluence makes its debut at the 2012 Istanbul Motor Show. The modern styling and on-board technologies of this three-volume saloon car, which is poised to continue the model's international career, have been designed to match the needs of its customers as closely as possible.
"The changes featured on New Renault Fluence are perfectly in phase with the needs of our key international markets, like Turkey and Russia," notes Hyun-Young Kwak, Project Marketing Manager, Renault Fluence.
Modern, dynamic styling
New Renault Fluence features Renault's new styling identity. Its front end is the same as that of the brand's other new models, with a vertically-set logo at the centre of a broad black strip picked out by chrome beading which provides the car with a dynamic stance.
The LED daytime running lights and chrome/gloss black inserts also contribute to the newcomer's modern appeal.
The design of the interior is also more modern, including digital instrumentation for all versions.
The cabin is as roomy as ever and has been enhanced by the use of new upholsteries for segment-topping comfort.
A choice of petrol or diesel engines, with automatic transmission, ideal for motoring in built-up areas
The new 1.6 16V 115 engine drives through the new-generation X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission to combine a seamless, jar-free ride with sprightly driving pleasure, as well as a significant reduction in fuel consumption which is down by 1.3 litres/100km to 6.4 litres/100km, while CO2 emissions are down 15 percent to 149g/km.

► 2012 Renault Fluence ZE [CRASH TEST]
In the frontal test, the passenger compartment remained stable. However, there was insufficient pressure in the driver's airbag to prevent the head from making contact, through the fabric of the airbag, with the rim of the steering wheel. The car was penalised for this 'bottoming out' of the airbag. Renault has informed Euro NCAP that they are investigating the issue with a view to making improvements. Structures in the dashboard were thought to present a hazard to the knees and femurs of the driver and passenger. In the side barrier test, protection of the chest was adequate and that of other body regions was good. In the more severe side pole test, dummy readings of rib deflection indicated weak protection of the chest. The seat and head restraint provided marginal protection against whiplash injuries in the event of a rear-end collision. The car was checked after all of the tests and no electrical hazards were found.

Adult occupant: In the frontal impact the driver and passenger heads were both well protected by the restrain systems. Both seatbelts were not equipped with pretensioners. There were hazardous structures in the area of the facia that could be impacted by an occupants knees. The passenger chest was marginally protected by the restrain systems.
Child occupant: The child seat for the 1,5 and the 3 year old child was able to prevent excessive forward movement during the impact. The installation instructions on both child seats were insufficient and not permanently attached to the seat. The vehicle did not give any warnings as to the hazards associated with installing a rearward facing child seat on the front passenger seat with an active airbag.
