Checking out a 1999 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible
This is a tour of a '99 9-3. From the '94-'98 900, Saab tightened up the
suspension a notch, changed the body style, and also got better crash
tests. This model is Imola Red on Medium Gray leather. If you want me to do
a video on a specific car please leave a comment. Thanks for taking a look.
Saab 9-5 Overview
Just a little overview my Saab in my driveway. This car has been pretty
good to me. It's needed a few things, but what 7 year old car doesn't? I'd
definitely recommend this car to anyone that wants something sporty,
comfortable, nice looking, and fun to drive. And not to mention how low the
insurance rates are and how safe these cars are!! Top pick by the IIHS for
2002 and up. Attention to safety is what Saab's about. From the brake-away
brake pedal when there is a front crash, to the center ignition (yes that
was originally done as a safety feature) this car is full of safety
features. GREAT CAR!
1999 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible - NO START
After a head gasket replacement, my car will still not start. The timing
looks ok (the Exhaust camshaft might
be off by one tooth) There seems to be fuel getting to the engine, the
battery is good, spark plugs are new. What could be wrong with my car?
How to Add an AUX Input to a Saab 9-3
This video shows how to add an AUX input jack to a 2003 or newer Saab 9-3.
Before doing this you might want to look in your center armrest and see if
there's one there already. I had one, I just didn't know it. Oh well... I
like the location of this one better anyway. My car is a 2006. I don't know
what year Saab started adding the AUX input in the armrest, but some of the
earlier cars didn't have them.
Anyway, now I have TWO AUX inputs! :-)
If your car is a 2003 through 2005, go here to see how to connect the wires
directly to the pins on the back of the stereo:
