Dodge Ramcharger 4x4 on a rock shoreline in West Texas - Ramcharger on the Rocks II
More fun at JB Thomas. Made a few upgrades to the truck, rear locker being the one that increased the fun factor the most. Eases over most obstacles now, even though it weighs north of 5700 pounds with tools, spare parts, my fat self etc. I like the old truck pretty well.

Dodge Ramcharger Royal SE 4x4 SUV 5.9L V8 1985 Power Ram 1 OWNER Special Edition
Dodge Ramcharger Royal SE 4x4 SUV 5.9L V8 1985 Ram Charger Power Ram 1 OWNER http://www.1ownercarguy.com This is a very nice Dodge Ramcharger which is the Royal SE Special Edition. I believe that this is a 1 Owner Truck. The miles say 42K and I'm just not sure if they have rolled over or not. The truck looks cool with the two tone black and gold paint and the factory turbine looking wheels that are in great shape. The truck runs great. It has the 5.9L V8 which is a good reliable motor. It fires right up and runs, drives, and shifts like it is suppose to. The interior is just as clean as can be. This is what really makes me believe the miles. The seats show very little wear and everything is just clean as can be. During development, it was known as the "Rhino".[1] 1974 through 1980 models have a removable hard top, although dealer-installed soft tops were available. The first year model differs from the others in that its door pillars are attached to the removable roof. Like many vehicles, the Ramcharger was used in rallying, although its use was very limited. It did have some success, as demonstrated by achieving first place at Sno*Drift in 1975. In 1978 and 1979 the 360 CID's horsepower was bumped up to 195 horsepower (145 kW). 1978 was the last year for the 440 CID, which by then only put out 215 horsepower (160 kW). The Ramcharger and Trailduster followed the D-series pickup's 1981 redesign into the Ram and is considered the second generation. These models had a non-removable welded steel top instead of the removable top. The Trailduster was only available for one year with the Ram design and steel non-removable top, as it was dropped after 1981. 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 707 Horsepower? Hell Yeah! – Ignition Ep. 116
On this episode of Ignition, presented by Universal Technical Institute, Carlos Lago drives the most powerful production muscle car on the market: The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. While it isn’t the most powerful production V-8 in the world (which loses to the $1 million McLaren P1 by 20 hp before electric motors), the Hellcat’s 707 hp rating seems too incredible to believe -- especially when you consider the cost. The question is whether this Challenger has any brain to go along with its extreme brawn. Through a trip to the Dyno, the test track, the road, and a standing mile, we find out. Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsAegdhiYLEoaFGuJFVrqFQ?sub_confirmation=1 Facebook - http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & https://www.facebook.com/mt.ignition Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend & https://twitter.com/mt_ignition Google+ - https://plus.google.com/+motortrend/posts Instagram - @mt_ignition Website - http://www.motortrend.com

From Wikipedia The Dodge Ramcharger is a large sport utility vehicle built by Dodge from 1974 to 1993 (and 1999 to 2001 in Mexico), and based on a shortened-wheelbase version of the Dodge D Series/Ram pickup truck chassis. A Plymouth version, named the Trailduster and offered from 1974 to 1981, was Plymouth's only SUV. The Ramcharger was primarily produced as a full-time four wheel drive vehicle, although a two wheel drive version was available starting in 1975. During development, it was known as the "Rhino".[1] 1974 through 1980 models have a removable hard top, although dealer-installed soft tops were available. The first year model differs from the others in that its door pillars are attached to a removable roof. The vehicle was usually powered by a Chrysler LA engine, the most common being the 318 cu in (5.2 L) V8. Optional was the 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 and even big-block B series 400 cu in (6.6 L) V8 and RB 440 cu in (7.2 L) V8 were offered in the early years. Initially a normally aspirated carburetor, in 1988 the 318 gained throttle-body fuel injection with the 360 following in 1989. Power output for the TBI 318 was 230 horsepower (170 kW) and 280 lb (130 kg)-ft of torque. The TBI 360 had 240 hp (180 kW) and 283 to 295 lb·ft (400 N·m). In 1992 the multiport fuel injected Magnum 318 was the standard engine while the LA 360 with TBI was still offered. In 1993 the Magnum 360 replaced the LA engine version. Many manual transmissions were offered throughout the years, starting with the A-230 three-speed and ending with the A-535 five-speed in 1992. The NP435 "granny gear" 4 speed was the most common in 4WD models, as well as the close ratio version, the NP445. In 1988 the clutch was converted from a mechanical linkage to a hydraulic system. Automatic transmission models had the Chrysler Loadflite TF-727A or B until, in 1991, it was replaced with the A-500/A-518 four-speed. Axles were Dana 44 front and 9¼" rear. Full time 4WD models (1973--1979) were equipped with the full time version of the Dana 44 that had no provision for locking hubs and had a front wheel bearing design with a somewhat dubious reputation. In 1980 when the part time 4WD system was introduced, the front Dana 44 was equipped with a more conventional front wheel bearing design and automatic locking hubs. Late in the 1984 model year the Dana 44 was switched to a CAD (Center Axle Disconnect) version. The CAD Dana 44 was vacuum actuated by a switch on the transfer case and powered by engine vacuum. The CAD Dana 44 was carried on until the end of Ramcharger production in 1993. Users often ran into problems with the CAD system. The vacuum switch on the transfer case would occasionally fail and either leave the CAD engaged or not engage the CAD at all. Limited slip differentials were available for the 9¼" rear axle. It should also be noted that the full time 4WD versions used a 5 on 4½" wheel bolt circle and the part time models used a 5 on 5½" bolt circle

SOLD-- 1977 Dodge Ramcharger 4x4 440 Big Block Mopar military ARMY tan (2 of 4)
CL AD: http://boise.craigslist.org/cto/1962332271.html (cars & trucks - by owner) I have a clean 1977 Dodge Ramcharger automatic 4x4 (same as Plymouth Trailduster) newly painted ARMY HMMVW flat tan. It has a Big Block Mopar 440 out of a 1972 Dodge Charger muscle car with over 500 HP that has been rebuilt with some nice after market parts with only a couple thousand miles on rebuild; glass packs on the true dual Exhaust for a low mean sounding truck. The transmission and transfer case were both rebuilt at the same time as the engine. The transmission is the highly sought after heavy duty TourgueFlight A-727 auto, considered by most to be the best automatic transmission in the world. The four wheel drive works awesome with full locker differential low gear on the transfer case. This is true 4x4 and when in 4-low-lock, ALL FOUR wheels turn like a tractor at the same time, hard to find a real 4x4 these days. The truck has factory A/C, but not hooked up. The brakes are discs in the front and drums in the rear and all are in excellent shape and stops the truck on a dime. The interior is simple with black carpet on the floor and two nice black cloth bucket seats (with nice middle console) and shoulder seat belts, no back seat. The tires are 32/10.5/16 Mud Terrain with 80% tread or better. There is a custom made removable sun roof big enough to stand out of (nicely done, does not leak when locked into place). The removable hard top comes off all the way to the windshield for the summer; also has a factory roll bar. It has a CLASS 4 hitch wired for many different trailer light setups. This is a reliable turn key tough truck; heater works and is ready to go hunting, camping, or whatever else. This truck is a blast to drive and will slow crawl up anything you point it at or go over 100mph+ on the freeway; it gets LOTS of attention and is currently my daily driver. Full disclosure: The only leaking is out of the power steering components and front differential. Neither are major issues, just leaks that can be fixed down the road or just monitored and fluids added as you go. NO MOTOR LEAKING OR TRANSMISSION LEAKING AT ALL! Title in hand for fast transaction. Serious inquiries only, no time for tire kickers. I would consider a partial trade, but do need some cash for a couple bills. 208-570-9301 Keywords: ram charger trail duster BB awd usmc air force marines AT A/T
