Well cared for original car with numbers matching motor. Recently serviced and in top running and driving condition with tight suspension, brakes and steering. Correctly fitted with Redline tires. Starts, runs and purrs beautifully with no smoke, healthy oil pressure and terrific power and acceleration. Car is ready to use for summer right now with confidence. Older, average re-spray of the original and rarely seen Ascot Fawn. Completely original interior with the exception of the recent reupholstered center armrest. I even suspect the top may be original. While not perfect, it does look good. Car includes books and original sales documents as well as the customer identification card.

This Primrose Yellow 1968 Jaguar XKE has only 47k original miles. The engine is original / number matching. The three speed automatic transmission shifts through the gears responsively. This is a series 1.5 meaning it retains many desirable series 1 attributes (including the grille and ornamental chrome turn signals) but it has some mechanical benefits of a Series II XKE (like duel cooling fans for the engine). 1968 is a unique year making it a really special car among enthusiasts.

Jaguar E Type First Test Drive Ground Up Restoration.m4v
I had purchased a Jaguar E Type that was in deplorable shape. Someone had even taken the V12 engine out and installed a V8. A ground up restoration was launched which took 2 years to complete. This footage is from about 16 months into the restoration when the car was nearing completion mechanically. The test drive was also the first time I had ever driven a Jaguar E Type.
