This tC borrows the Camry's 2.4L 4 Cyl which makes 160 HP while paired to a 5 speed manual
Well it's obvious that this tC was a much better overall car especially when it comes to the interior. Many elements within the interior were of much higher quality, more tightly finished & better made. If theres anything this car lacks what the 2011 has, it's the more refined engine, the throatier Exhaust, the the optional 6AT whereas the optional auto here is a 4AT. Forgot to check if this steering wheel is damped so I need to check up on that.

2006 Scion tC Exhaust Sound
Prior to the straight pipe, I had a Apexi N1 installed but was damaged and ripped off by the unforgiving streets of LA... So as a temporary solution, this is what I decided to install.
Before installation, I had a difficult time finding a clip on Youtube that showed me what a tC would sound like... So I decided to take my chances and frankly... I kinda like the volume and note of the Exhaust.
I am aware that the welding looks a bit ugly, but like I said, this is only temporary.. If I do decide to keep it this way, I will have a single piece of piping replace this eye sore.

How To Install Amp and Subs on a Scion TC 2005-2010
DIY Install on a 2005 Scion TC, note seperate ground wires were added to amp and capacitor, they are no longer daisy chained, also ground location was changed to under the tire cover to allow for a shorter distance in the wire. also speakers are no longer bridged now the audio is perfect.!
