T1 Race Development: The Quest for Sevens
For 2012, the notorious 8-second T1 Drag Integra has undergone a thorough re-engineering of the entire turbo system, suspension, and chassis in an effort to make history and break the 7-second barrier in the quarter-mile. The design, fabrication, and tuning was done at T1 Race Development in Rowlett, Texas by Tony Palo, crew chief Michael Morris, Matt Owen, and Aaron Nelson. The full uni-body Acura Integra is powered by a heavily Boosted and strengthened B18C1 built by Watt's Shop, and is fed by Injector Dynamics ID2000 fuel injectors with E98 racing fuel. The engine utilizes T1-spec Web Camshafts in an RLZ Cylinder Head. The turbo is mounted to a Full-Race 'Outlaw' manifold. Engine management is handled by Motec M800, with a T1 Spec Race harness. It retains the standard H-pattern transmission, full-glass, dash, steel doors, and cromoly cage. Weight savings has been enhanced with lightweight Kevlar front fenders & front bumper, Seibon carbon fiber hood & rear hatch. A set of Drive Shaft Shop axles get the power to the ground. Piloted by Tony Palo, the T1 Integra has run a best e.t. of 8.38, and a best mph of 186 in the quarter mile. 2011 Mustang V6 3.7L BBK Long Tube Headers and Off Road X-Pipe
Just installed the BBK Long Tube Headers and BBK Off Road X-Pipe. These are the mods that I had before the install: C&L Cold Air Intake, Bama 93 Custom Tune, Roush Axle Back Exhaust. The install is very easy however the only issue I came across was the fact that BBK sent me the wrong O2 Sensor Extensions. They told me that no one makes them yet and I also found in the forums people that were complaining about the same thing. The fix they suggested was to solder an extension that is exactly what I did and it worked perfectly. This setup is EXTREMELY loud and I think the Roush has alot to do with it. It was already a little drony at 3000RPM before the LTs and now its even more. I am going to get a Dyno with this setup and then im going to slap on the stock Exhaust to see how it sounds. I will post videos for those 2 things for sure. I also just received the Bama Custom Tune that took the long tube headers into account and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Highly recommend BBK and OR X-Pipe with the Bama Tune by American Muscle...
