2005 Dodge Magnum R/T 5.7L V8 Start Up & Rev With Exhaust View - 79K

2005 Dodge Magnum R/T This 1 has a 5.7L Hemi V8 good for 340 HP While paired to a 5 Speed Auto. At all costs avoid the smallest 2.7L V6 which is paired to a 4 Speed auto. That engine is just gutless & too weak to pull around this heavy wagon. Interior quality is typical Chrysler of 2005 which isn't good. No need to further explain. These wagons are RWD & the V8 versions ought to be fun to drive around.

How to change and upgrade to EV6 12 hole fuel injectors in a 4.7 V8 HO Magnum PowerTech Jeep Dodge
How to change fuel injectors in a 4.7 V8 HO / Magnum / Power Tech Jeep / Dodge / Chrysler. When it was time I serviced my WJ Jeep EV6 19lb fuel injectors but instead of re-installing the original 2 hole injectors I wanted to replace them with 4 hole injectors for better Atomization. I also wanted to go up to the 4.7 HO size injectors which are 24lb. Instead I found some Bosch 12 hole EV6 24lb (240cc) injectors on eBay P/N 0280156161 for US$180 + postage to Australia. These are out of a 2003 Ford focus 2.3 liter 4 cylinder I found out later. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mustang-Racing-24lb-Red-Cobra-Fuel-In jectors-4-6-5-0-Ev6-Connect-12-Hole-/321637484592?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts _Accessories&hash=item4ae3168830&vxp=mtr I gave them a service as these were very dirty when they arrived I loaded a clip on how I did this is also on my YouTube channel. Dont forget to reset your PCM after a job like this especialy after a upgrade. Disconnect the POSITIVE battery Terminal and touch it to ground for 30 seconds. If it is too short use a jumper cable. I usualy leave mine earthed for longer or overnight if it suits me. This is to discharge the PCM capacitors, which maintain the adaptive memory. It is like a factory reset and will start learning how to run best all over again. I beleive it remembers 50 trips. Reconnect the Battery Cable Turn ignition switch to the “On” position but DO NOT start the engine Turn Headlight on then off again then lastly turn ignition key off again. Your PCM is now reset. I have not driven it much yet but the engine idles a lot smoother and power seems to be up by quite a bit also. Will let you know how the fuel economy goes when I know.
