Turbo Geo Metro Build
This is my 1992 Geo Metro 1.0L 3 cylinder 3 speed automatic. This car had a measly 55hp and the same in torque and could barely get out of its own way. So I decided to turbo the car. I pulled the turbo from a Volvo 940 and the Intercooler from a Saab. I bought a small arc welder and made the manifold, pardon the ugly welds but it holds. Equipment list: TD04H-13C Saab Blackstone Intercooler Boost referenced fuel enrichment through the CTS 2 inch Exhaust with one resonator and a glasspack at the tip I am in the process of changing the turbo to a Garrett T-25 with a different Intercooler, so I will post up as the project progresses!

Turbo Geo Metro First Start
Well, after one long week of fabrication, we finally were able to start the car. This setup is somewhat different to the original setup. I went with a front mount Intercooler that mounts in the bumper fairing. The piping runs through the fender well to avoid running right over the hot turbo and manifold. The T25 turbo does not have a compressor bypass valve like the TD04-13c did(I blocked this off and used a blow off valve), so it is much smaller and allowed me to put the air filter right on the front of the turbo. So here is the breakdown: Garrett T-25 turbo, .48 compressor and .49 turbine housings, wastegate set to 5psi stock. Manual Boost controller to raise the Boost to 6.5psi Standalone fuel enrichment circuit that activates at 4.5psi 27x5x2 inch front mount Intercooler, this is just at basic universal ebay Intercooler 2 inch Intercooler piping with blow off valve 160 degree thermostat, gotta keep that extra heat under wraps Transmission oil cooler 2 1/4 inch Exhaust system, 20 inch resonator midline with a 6x10 glasspack at the tip, no fart cans!!
