bone stock 2011 Mustang GT
with a custom twin turbo setup designed
and tuned by Jon Lund, Jake Long and Ken Bjonnes. For these runs the car
has the stock suspension except lowering springs, stock gear, stock torque
converter. And it's stock weight plus the weight of the turbo system.
The car has only been running a few weeks. With some more tuning and a
converter we expect to see 9's at 10-12 psi.

We take our brand new fleet of 2015 Ford Mustangs down to Cecil County Dragway
to put them to the test! Our 2015 Mustang GT goes a best of 13.1 in the
quarter mile and is just barely beat out by our 2012 Mustang GT 5.0L in stock form with a
12.9 quarter mile pass. This shows that the factory IRS is a beast on the
road and around corners, but need a little bit of work here at the
dragstrip to keep us from having wheel hop issues!
We still had alot of 87 octane left in the tank, completely stock tires and
stock tire pressure, less than 50 miles on the car and terrible track prep.
We think this new 2015 S550 Mustang would have dipped into the
12's with good track prep and some 93 octane!
Make sure that you stay tuned because we're going to build a fleet of Ford
Mustang S550's from GT to
V6 and EcoBoost!
