I think the key to this unique drive is the low center of gravity that gives a grip that no combustion engine car can physically achieve. Like me on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/jtphotos2 Last week I was driving home from dropping my friend off at the airport and in the midst of all the horrible Los Angeles traffic I came across this Fisker Karma which had a chrome wrap, with tinted out windows, black wheels, and neon underglow! I couldn't believe my eyes at first seeing someone do this to a Fisker. After getting off the highway I thought about the car since it looked familiar and realized it was the one and only Justin Bieber. The chrome wrap on the car actually looked decent with the contrast of black wheels but the neon underglow was a joke! What does everyone think about the car and having neon lights on the bottom? I made my reservation on a Model S in May of 2009 and have been waiting over 3 years to drive it for the first time. As you know, the Performance Edition has an 85kWh battery and offers amazing acceleration of 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds. The test car was electronically limited to 80mph, and it pulled strong until it hit that limit. One word sums it up - amazing. I had high expectations before the test drive, since I read practically every review article I could find before going in, and the test drive still exceeded my expectations by a mile. Fisker Karma Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle at Discovery Channel
Television interview with Henrik Fisker on the sports high-performance Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid vehicle being developed at Fisker Automotive (www.fiskerautomotive.com). Video shows rare footage of Quantum Technologies' (www.qtww.com) installations where the Q-drive electric hybrid powertrain is being developed for the Karma. Test runs are at El Toro' old airbase in Orange County, and a showcar was recently demonstrated at the tracks of Laguna Seca. Production is planned at Valmet Automotive's installations at Finland.
