How To Drive a Fast Lap of Sebring - /SHAKEDOWN
Leo Parente, host of ShakeDown, shares track notes of how to drive the Sebring 12hr race course. With the help of racers he has known, an interview with 2012 winner - Allan McNish, and an in-car lap that Madison Snow drove in his Platinum Class Porsche IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama racecar, ShakeDown breaks down the 3.7 mile track, corner by corner. If you like, we can do more tracks as part of the ShakeDown University racer skills training series. Qualifying Pole Postion onboard lap from the February 2nd 2013 Porsche Club America Sebring: Next 48hours event. "Running on old Pirelli slicks hand-me-downs for a change this time. Those tyres are very driveable and easy to recover if you go too fast or get in a slide. I overshot a couple of turns slightly and had a tad bit of traffic so there should've been a 2m17s in there I suppose. Temperature was cool at 11am and the engine definitely benefited from that on the straightaways."
