1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Engine Start
First time starting up the 2333 cc engine (91x84mm) that I installed in my
wife's freshly restored 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. Yes, I
know my coil is installed upside-down. The after-market wire harness was
installed with too little slack to reach a downward-pointing coil. This is
Karmann-Ghia anniversary 50 years 1955-2005
On the 14th of July 1955 the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was presented to the
public. Members of the media and business were invited to the Kasino in
Georgsmarienhütte, which is close to the Karmann factory in Osnabrück.
50 years on, Karmann Ghia friends around the world are invited to take part
in these jubilee celebrations at the historical location, invited by the
big Karmann Ghia clubs of Germany with the support of numerous sponsors and
helpers. Georgsmarienhütte is situated a few kilometres south of
Osnabrück in northern Germany.
This is a short private movie of me as participant - it is not the official
video off the anniversary.

Forgotten Volkswagen 23 Window Deluxe Samba
Got a tip on a bus that was owned by a local guy but that was located
almost 1100 miles away in New Mexico. We put a deal together on it and this
video documents some of the adventure in retrieving it from New Mexico.
Over 2300 miles traveled in just under 36 hours to bring this early pressed
bumper 23 window bus back to the Stable. Subscribe and follow the progress
of this very cool, possibly even rare by some peoples standards, 23 window
deluxe as it is slowly put back on the road.
