1984 Pontiac Trans Am with Magnaflow Exhaust
This is a stock 1984 Trans Am but with cat-back Magnaflow Exhaust. I'm a car guy just sharing my car. Car
has been in family since new. Ran a 15.9s 1/4 mile at 87mph during a drag
strip run but had stock muffler at the time. This car also has the 5.0L
(L69) engine with ram air (they called it cold air induction back then).
Shot the vid with my old camera so is kind of choppy. The two popping
sounds on the Exhaust sound were
backfires...was kind of hot from idling and does that sometimes.

Combustion Chamber Cleaning—Berryman Your Car; Don't Seafoam It!
In this video, I use the Berryman Products "Combustion Chamber Cleaner" via
vacuum induction. The product utilizes aggressive solvents and detergents
to clean the entire combustion chamber, including the heads, piston crowns,
and intake valves, rather than using a petroleum oil, an aliphatic
distillate (paint thinner), and isopropyl alcohol (not a very good
DIY Fuel Injector Cleaning & Repair
This is the end result of a few hours of work and $60 because I didn't have
a 1/4" NPT tap in any of my kits. I could have done this for less-than
$40. The BG products were donated to the cause.
The REASON you want to use 20 PSI is precisely because of how peak-hold
type injectors work. The injector signal sends a 4v spike to open a
peak-hold type injector quickly, then maintains its open condition with
only 1 volt. Really, it's a current thing and there's a longer
explanation, but that's it in a nutshell. When you put the injector in its
operating pressure, it takes more than a AA battery to open it, but you
don't want to sustain that much current with a momentary switch and your
expensive injectors. This isn't in the video because this warning wouldn't
be as clear. Unless you can simulate the injector pulse precisely, don't
try it. 1.5v is enough to open it below its operating pressure. If you
open it and THEN apply pressure, you can flow as much pressure as you can
throw at it.
I don't discourage anyone from getting their injectors professionally
cleaned and balanced, but in my case, I didn't feel that was necessary.
In my first video, I thanked the seller for these injectors and happy to
know I got a great deal on high quality parts. My gratitude is even
greater because I had problems with them. It gave me an opportunity to
help others troubleshoot these kinds of problems when purchasing used
parts. A different idiot might have blamed the seller for peddling crap,
demanding their money back... but that would only be because they didn't
even know what they were looking at.
This particular idiot knows what high quality parts RC injectors are and
how to clean 'em. $250 + $60 still means I saved about $150 on a brand new
set. We all benefit because I bought these and I'm grateful! Let the good
89 Trans Am GTA Seafoam drive
Just ran Seafoam through my 89 Trans Am GTA for the first time. Car has

the end as I pull away.
How To Seafoam Your Vehicle
2 Can of Seafoam & 1 Can of Deep Creep - 1 can goes into your fuel tank and
half of the other one goes into your oil and the other half goes through
the brake Booster line. The Deep
Creep is sprayed through the throttle body. Let the vehicle sit 15-20
mins. and start up and watch the smoke show. If you have no smoke your
vehicle didn't have any carbon build up to clean off.

1974 Pontiac Firebird
The Pontiac Firebird was built by the Pontiac division of General Motors
between 1967 and 2002. The Firebird was introduced the same year as the
automaker's platform-sharing model, the Chevrolet Camaro. This coincided with the
release of the 1967 Mercury Cougar, which shared its platform with another
pony car, the Ford Mustang.
The second generation debut for the 1970 model year was delayed until
February 26, 1970, because of tooling and engineering problems. Replacing
the "Coke bottle" styling was a more "swoopy" body style, with the top of
the rear window line going almost straight down to the lip of the trunk
lid. This look was to epitomize F-body styling for the longest period
during the Firebird's lifetime. The 1974 models featured a redesigned
"shovel-nose" front end and new wide "slotted" taillights.

DIY Rx8 Seafoam Cleaning
MAKE SURE ANNOTATIONS ARE ON.
This is a DIY of me seafoaming my Rx8. This is being done on my 2004 with
98k miles. This is the second time I've cleaned my 8, the first being at
70k. I hope this is helpful! All the instructions are on the annotations.
To make sure everyone's clear, you inject each port twice in order to
relieve some of the strain from the starter. Should be roughly 4 oz per
port, 8 oz total. You can pour the rest in the tank to help clean up your
