Building "Reprise" - A Custom 1951 Mercury
Over the last several years Bio Kustumz has been building this '51 Merc for
Jerry Horton, the Guitarist for band Papa Roach. What started as a simple
fix-it job uncovered some devastated metal work under loads of bondo. Bio
Kustumz began hand forming each body panel, rechopped the roof and even
machined their own wheels. Reprise will be featured in the Kinetik Audio
SEMA booth this year.

Mercury Cars of 1949 to 1951
The Mercury car model has been around since 1939 and was introduced as a
mid range priced vehicle by Edsel Ford.
Cars built between 1949 and 1951, would in later years prove to be very
popular amongst the Hot Rod Car Enthusiasts. They would reshape the steel
to produce cars that would set a new standard for Customized Vehicles.
Early model Mercury cars of 1949 to 1951 had a 90 degree V type, "L" head 8
cylinder engine with a displacement of 255.4 cubic inches. These engines
put out 112 horsepower at 3600 R.P.M.
Later model cars of 1955 replaced the "L" engine with the "Y" block V-8
producing between 188 and 198 horsepower dependant on the
engine type for that year.
This slide show is a part of a series of pictures of cars from different
car shows that I've attended here in Southern California U.S.A.
CVPI and Marauder music video montage
This is a little video I made showing the Ford Crown Victoria Police
Interceptor vehicles from years 1988 to 2008. Technically the 1993 was the
first P71 Police Interceptor, but the older models were still Police.
The Mercury Marauder video and next three images are of the original
Mercury Marauder who's owner that started www.mercurymarauder.net.
