550RWHP Powerstroke pulling at Butler PA
Heres my red and silver Ford PowerStroke pulling at the Butler Fair in July 2007. Its around 550hp at the ground. Thanks for the comments. Sorry i didnt answer till now i know for some its been years. This truck was recently retired and is back on the road for street use / towing. Awesome running just had bad luck keeping the engine together. Even with a built bottom end and top end it kept blowing up. Broke a piston and cracked a piston trashing 2 engines. The truck was hitting 60psi of Boost and roughly 1300 degrees on the pyro. To answer most questions the truck was equipped with dual HPOP's, a custom hypermax H2E turbo, stage 5 530 injectors 345cc, water injection, ts 6 postion chip with custom tuning from beans diesel performance (bdp), custom fuel system, detroit lockers, south bend dual disk clutch, transfer case from the 6 speed on a super duty.

O motor a gasolina consegue manter a força por mais tempo, porque o motor a diesel "esgota" mais rapidamente. Isto quer dizer que um motor a gasolina vai sem problemas até as 6000 rotações, mas que um motor a diesel não passa das 5000. Dito isto, as principais vantagens do motor a diesel é o baixo consumo de combustível, maior binário a baixas rotações (na prática, tem mais força) e maior durabilidade. É também o tipo de motor mais indicado para automóveis de mercadorias e camiões porque desenvolve mais força (mais binário). O motor a gasolina é um motor rotativo que, quando comparado com o seu equivalente a diesel, consegue melhor performance.
