2013 Ram 1500 vs Ford F-150 vs Chevy Silverado 0-60 MPH Mashup Test & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Ram 1500 Pick-up ( you may remember it as a Dodge) is virtually all new. OK, the HEMI engine option remains but same as the new Ram 1500 is now available with the Chrysler Pentastar V-6 engine and a HEMI V-8. But for 2013 the Ram also gets a new and class first 8 speed transmission, and optional self-leveling air suspension and (according to Ram) best in class fuel economy. Of course we wanted to know know just how fast the new Ram 1500 is to 60 MPH and perhaps more importantly how it competes with the best selling vehicle in America...the Ford F-150. We also wanted to know how it stacks up against the Chevy Silverado. If you are curious as well, watch this exclusive TFLcar mashup review as we test and review all three classic American pick-up trucks and see which one is fastest to 60 MPH.
2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ram/1500/2012/?id=32972 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 - Toss everything you know about Dodge Ram Pickup Truck out the window. New for 2012 there are no more Dodge Trucks instead it's just Ram! First off the Ram 1500 is the first full-sized truck to use coil springs out back instead of leaf springs. This is does wonders from a ride and handling aspect as most American's drive their trucks on the road. If you are looking to haul stuff, go off-roading, or you need a reliable work truck then Ram offers the larger heavy duty trucks that will fit your needs. But for 2012 the Dodge Ram 1500 rides more like a car than a truck compared to its competition. Better ride is what is most important to the Ram 1500. The interior is luxurious and comfortable at a reasonable price. If you are using a truck for basic transportation most of the time the 2012 Ram 1500 is a perfect choice. Completely engineered and redesigned from the ground up the 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 comes in 28 different trims. These range from long and short beds, 4x2 or 4x4, standard cab or crew cab; and everything in between. The base model is a real value at $21,475 while the top of the line 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn retails for $46,270. There are a couple of different engine choice but the real winner of the group is the 5.7 liter V-8 HEMI engine that produces 390 horsepower and 407 lb-ft. of torque.
