1962 VW Beetle engine

My 1962 VW Beetle project finally seeing the light after being in the garage for 2 years while I put her together from a bare shell and frame. I put everything together from bumper to bumper, including building the engine. The transmission is the only item on the car I did not rebuild. Many hours, blood, sweat, and tears went into this car! She should be on the road soon! I can't wait!!!

I spent the morning working on trying to free up the rear wheels. Heated them, soaked them in oil, and yarned on 'em till I was sore. Then I thought of a wonderful solution! hahahaha.. Now on with the rest of my life..

Here safe at home they give this severe nasty looking VW a SoCal, a sunny car look. Now they would be able getting started picking up enthusiastic girls around the beach area. That car became a Beatle it wouldn't hurt the English man any more. It wasn't a battle ship any longer. History: After rebuilding their Germany it starts producing VW's again including the Kdf car pre-designed by Hitler. It became a real plague. Millions of them were driving everywhere around the world. No body could stop them. Even the police. In Nehterlands and Amsterdam the Police drove them. But nowadys again. If you call Dutch of German Police for help soon a VW will appear!

[EN] This video shows a VW 1200 Sedan with Sunroof (original "Golde" system) that has been kept in our family since new. The car was registered in Portugal (Porto) in June 1961, right after being imported from Germany. It is one of the first units with the 1192cm 34Hp engine. Two years ago it underwent a complete restoration. You can see the result in this video and drive with me and my brother across the streets of our hometown, Porto. Foi registado em Portugal (Porto) em Junho de 1961, após ter sido importado da Alemanha. É um dos primeiros exemplares com o motor de 1200cm3 e 34Cv. Há dois anos foi alvo de um restauro total.
