Referee certified LS1/6speed 85 SS montecarlo
OK i know my camera skills were lacking. theres a bunch more videos on my channel of this car..most filmed by other people so u dont have to feel cheated. in my defense i was nervous in the beginning and excited at the end ..in addition to trying to film with a flip camera not really looking through its tiny little screen. if anyone can feel me on that 100% homebuilt 85 SS monte. LS1, 6 speed, OBD2 conversion. complete drivetrain, harness, fuel system, dash and other misc. parts out of a 99 SS Camaro. the Camaro only had 47k miles when it came into my possesion. rest of the car including heater, lights, wipers, cruise control and things like that all being powered from the Camaros harness/controls. none of the 1985 harness remains except the dome light circuit. t GM A-body 12 bolt reareand with 4.11:1 gears and a true track posi fitted with the ss Camaros 12" rear disc brakes. shortened upper trailing arms and adjustable lowers with spherical rod ends to fit the older/beefier/wider rearend. still a work in progress at this point, but to me getting the referee to approve my work was a big deal and a huge step. this car passes california smog legally! go green!...well as green as you can go with a full size, v8 powered car thats built for thrashing.

How To: 4 Wire LS Wiring Harness Conversion, Part 3
In part three we finish up the wiring harness, centralize the grounds, and bundle the wires. To finish the harness, all bundles of wires are wrapped in split loom for protection and to retain the factory look. Wiring Harness Pinout: http://lt1swap.com/99-02_vortec_pcm.htm

1979 Dodge Little Red Express: The Original Muscle Truck -- /BIG MUSCLE
It's the Granddaddy of the muscle truck. The original gangster, and the one that broke the mold when it came to straight-line American speed in the late 1970's. The Little Red Express Truck was a twin-stacked, small block powered pickup truck from Dodge that was you're worst nightmare if you happened to own a Ferrari 308, Trans Am or Corvette back in 1978 or 1979. Big on style as well as performance, the Little Red's are some of the rarest and coolest trucks to ever come out of Detroit, and with the power to back up the looks, it's no wonder they've generated a cult following amongst dedicated enthusiasts.

2003 Corvette LS1 5.7 / 350 Engine, very nice running -- just listen!
This LS1 motor was just recently removed from a 2003 Corvette. Price $2650. It had been lightly burnt on top. The injection has been removed, and all the gaskets in the engine have been replaced, including head gaskets. This engine has been converted to carburetion by means of an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake manifold and a MSD ignition kit. NOTE: if you don't need the intake manifold and/or MSD, the engine alone may be sold separately for $2000. Carburetor and Exhaust pipes NOT included.

GM LS1 V8 Engine Swap Part I
Catching up on the times.. I have thrown in the towel on old obsolete engines and have moved forward into a newer technology. I have given up on my 455 for the simple fact that it is expensive to drive with high fuel prices.. and an LS engine will provide me with better all around performance and economy.. UPDATE: I ended up tossing a Q-jet on the 5.3 and calling it a day with the LS1 cam this little guy pulls to 6000 no problem and melts the tires without a problem.. You simply can't beat these little motors.

Me and my dad see my dad's old car for the first time in 20 years.
He sold the car over 20+ years ago when he was an alcoholic. Said he probably would have died in it. This is the first time he saw it since he sold it over 20+ years ago. The car does look in relative good shape, we have no idea what has been done with the car over the past 20 years. It obviously wasn't sitting there for 20 years and nobody claims it to be. Pay attention, people. 1964 Buick Rivera. 425 Wildcat V8 w/ 427 horsepower.

How To: 4 Wire LS Wiring Harness Conversion, Part 2
In part two we begin modifying wires in order to make the wiring harness fit differently on the engine as the computer is being relocated from its original factory location. Power wires and grounds are dealt with, and we show how to modify the factory truck injector connections to work with an LS1 intake and injectors.
