10-second LS1 Street Commodore built in 2 weeks
Mark Sass has transformed this once V6 nugget VX Holden Commodore into a tough 10-second street car in a mere two weeks. The 3.8L V6 was ditched in favour of a 346ci LS1 engine, with the only internal change being a Nitrous spec camshaft. Other modifications include a 200hp Nitrous system, FAST intake manifold, Holden 3.7:1 LSD rear end (still retains factory IRS) and a turbo400 3spd transmission.
Mark drove the car to Calder Park on skinny MT 235 Drag Radials, ran a solid 10.3-second pass and drove home, the car's best MPH was 133mph.
