http://import2race.com Jeremy from south side performance(SSP) contacted us after hearing about Real Time Attack, and was excited to finally have and event like this. Due to the fact that our event was sold out, he was only able to bring one shop car, which was the Evo X MR making 540whp 406 tq. And it was a sight for soar eyes, this evo was not only aerodynamically beautiful, it performed like no other. We had to keep bumping him up in class till we just had to match him up with the Porsche tt, AMG Mercedes and a supercharged Mustang cobra.... and still he owned the track. Jeremy will be bring more cars and fellow shops eager to race at Real Time Attack and will be a force to recon with next year. We expect SSP to break records on every track.

Joey Butel's High HP Supercharged S2000
Joey Butel has built himself a package to be reckoned with. Starting with a mild-mannered 2006 Honda S2000, who knew the heights this 2.2L would see in its lifetime! Joey first bolted on a Science Of Speed Supercharging System with Paxton NOVI 1220 Supercharger, then proceeded to upgrade his head unit...not once, but TWICE. First, when his NOVI 1220 wasn't able to push enough Boost he opted for the NOVI 1200. Then, when 511rwhp was still not enough, Joey jumped up to the Paxton NOVI 1500 Supercharger and was able to break the current record for highest horsepower supercharged S2000 - 558.51RWHP & 353.04RWTQ. Currently running 24psi on E85, his supporting mods include a T1R Power header, 3 inch catback Exhaust with test pipe, ported stock throttle body, Honda KPro EMS, ID2000cc injectors, Inline Pro return-style fuel system, 255lph Walbro fuel pump, Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump, and a Fuel Lab fuel pressure regulator. There's a Comp Clutch Stage 2+ to help hold the power currently being layed down, along with differential collars, Bilstein PSS9s, Whiteline performance sway bars, CR steering rack brace, and widened rear wheels with Nitto NT01 R comp 275/40/17 tires. For brakes, this S2K has got Racing Brake 2pc slotted rotors, Hawk HPS pads, and SOS stainless lines. So deceptive is this car's understated look, there is almost nothing about it's outer appearance that will tip you off to the power it has on tap. The hardtop, lip spoiler, and trunk spoiler are all OEM offerings, with only a coastal metal splitter as any indicator the car is not stock. Joey even opted to widen the factory wheels instead of purchasing aftermarket units to retain the car's stock outer appearance. We're sure Joey has no problem surprising drivers of all types both on the street, and at the track with this potent package. When asked what it was like to hold the title of highest horsepower supercharged S2000, and what he thought of his car now, Joey replied "It's a blast! 500+(rwhp) in this car is purely SCARY. The car has no traction in less than fourth gear. Even rolling into the throttle is big fun. It's netting some crazy numbers...and (given the chance) I would do it all exactly the same again!"

This clip was put together to show some of the steps in the S2000 production process. The editing is meant to emphasize the amount of hand craftsmanship required to manufacture this vehicle. Seeing the gentleman work methodically on perfecting the shape of the hardtop really puts the price into perspective. Apologies for the low resolution of this video.
