I used a Gtech Pro to test my quarter mile before and after. Before the
Superchip I was doing 14.4 at 103mph, after the Superchip I did 13.8 at
106mph. For each test I did 3 runs and took an average.
In less than 15 minutes and a few hundred bucks, you can add 30 horsepower or more depending
on the model year of your Ford Mustang. My Mustang is an upgraded 1999 GT and I
had my Superchip custom programmed for all the modifications that I made to
The Superchips unit plugs right into the back of the stock car computer ECU
(engine control unit).
*Don't forget to disconnect your car battery for 10 minutes during this
upgrade; this will allow the car computer to recalibrate itself. You know
that you have done a proper job resetting your computer if when you start
your car, you notice that all the gauge needles sweep to the left then
