with 4.10 gears made 300hp at the wheels and 348ft of torque.Dyno tuned and built in house.
1967 ford with over 430,000 miles, cold start and run
James '67 ford f-100. 430,000 miles on it, including ranch-duty for
years.. it's a 352 FE Ford big block. The engine is stock except for the
intake manifold, and the only internal repairs have been 3 new valve seats.
Still reliable for every day driving after over 40 years and 430,000
miles.. Ford trucks kick ass.
Oh, and since it's in Boise, it still has to pass smog (1964 and up!) and

Driving my Hot Rod 1965 Galaxie 500XL with a 390 FE Ford base 445 FE
Stroker engine. It has an Edelbrock RPM intake with a MightyDemon 800 carb
and Edelbrock heads. A Comp solid lifter falt tappet cam with .605 lift and
248 deg duration at .050 lift Harland Sharp Roller Rockers and shafts,
billet rocker stands with end stands. Transmission is a TCI Streetfighter
C-6 with 3500 stall convertor and 3.70 gears, Tracl-Loc Differential,
Currie Nodular 9", Billet Pinion Retainer and 31 spline forged alloy axles.
428 Ford vs. 360ci Chevy
1966 Ford F-100 428 Cobra Jet power taking on Chevy S-10 0.60 over 350.
Both trucks running 12.5:1 compression, hydraulic flat tappet cams, single
4 barrel carbs, slicks and Nitrous. Nitrous was not used on this pass by either
truck. Both running pump gas.
