Lake Christie, bobbed deuce
Well, got some more vids of the Steelsoldiers Fall Rausch Creek Rally. This
deuce was lifted 10" on 1600x20's. This thing was a monster but, sometimes
even the biggest trucks need a small tug to get out of a sticky situation.
Deuce and Half meets 22 inches of Snow
We got somewhere in the neighborhood of 22 inches this past weekend (the
"Snowpocalypse" according to the media) which effectively immobilized all
of the vehicles on my street... except for my Deuce. The snow plows don't
usually come down my road until well after the storms so I decided to take
maters into my own hands. Using the 18,000lbs of the truck I compacted the
snow to a much more manageable 2 inches so that other cars and trucks could
Throughout the course of the day John and I also helped pull/push/winch a
car to safety and helped a lady in another part of the neighborhood get to
work. We also had a lot of fun in the process.

1968 AM General 2 1/2 6x6 Ton Multifuel Truck Resurecting The Toyota
Hey guys, apparently people are having a hard time telling that i was being
sarcastic when i said, "I don't think you should be taking this thing off
road, This is NOT an off road vehicle" I'm not exactly sure how people
can't tell that that is an obvious joke about a 6x6 diesel truck with
military tires. I mean, jesus, its even camo! Why would something be
camo, unless it was going to be driven in woods, and have to blend in with
trees and all... hahah, i don't know guys... i know i said it
serious-sounding sort of, but come on now. So anyway, back to the video
description: The Toyota has been back in the woods since i had to clean
up the field. So Drew borrowed this beast of a truck so we could get it
out of the woods. These Tires on the duce really don't do well i the
mud. luckily once it digs down, it gets enough traction :) so we plan on
getting the toyota going again soon. with any luck :) (update: the
woods had flooded bad, about a year before this video was shot, and the
toyota was underwater to about 3/4 or so up the seats... so the engine
filled with water, and is completely siezed. Its the 20R out of a 79 i
had. I plan on finding a 22R for it if i can.)
My m818 in the pit
Camping and wheeling ar Rausch Creek 10/24-10/25. It was cold and wet but a
hell of a good time! Im running re-caps and had crappy traction but still
P.S. you welcome for making the pit so deep!
Deuce in the fall b
Driving my '68 Kaiser M35A2 Deuce 6X6 in and around during the fall.
At one point my dog Duke thinks some mud falling off the tires is a mouse,
he catches alot of critters jumping off running vehicles.
And by the way, the pic you see at 2:38, it is not stuck!!
I was able drive back and forth on that no sweat in my attempts to climb
the hill. That lower mud needs to be taken care of next year to have shot
at climbing the hill.
