0-160 MPH in a 750hp GT-R
I was in Houston for a day trip for work and a friend picked me up from the hotel for a nice joy-ride in his 700-750awhp GT-R. Good way to prepare for TX2K next week! Filmed this with my point and shoot, forgive the wind noise
AMS GT-R Takes Down THREE 2,000hp Lambo's!!!
The 2,000hp Alpha Omega GT-R piloted by Ivan Phipps claims the overall King of the Streets Texas Invitational Title and becomes one of the most deserving cars of the "Lambo Killer" title people like to throw around after these races. Taking down some of the FASTEST cars in the "street car / street" roll racing world as they climbed the brackets of a 42 car roll race including 2000hp Heffner & UGR Twin turbo Lambo's, 1500-1600hp Twin turbo Vipers and an 1100hp Supra!
KING KONG 1300hp TT Porsche - Spinout @ 180MPH!!!
Kong Chang's 1300hp + Twin turbo Porsche 996 built by BBI Automotive is one serious B*TCH! Just hearing this thing it's clear this car means business! While we weren't able to see what the car was fully capable of before the end of the event, we know we'll be seeing this thing at the top of the ranks later this year at other races!
4000hp pair of TWIN TURBO Lambos!
This pair of OB Prestige Auto / Heffner Performance Lambos quickly caught our eye at TEXAS INVITATIONAL, not only are they "loud" looking, but they are LOUD and they sure do pack a punch! With twin 76mm turbos and a very unique Intercooler piping setup by Heffnew Performance, these cars had no problem making BIG POWER. A lot of these passes during the event were all about trying to figure out how to put the power down, but they definitely put on a good show! Side note - The blue Lambo broke the MPH record at the Shift S3ctor race in California weeks later!
