22'30 ist mir auf meinem lettischen Praktikum der Claas Lexion 560 mit 1050er Reifen innerhalb von Sekunden dramatisch versunken! Der Überladewagen war zu langsam und ich riskierte es in der fremden Umgebung mit vollem Bunker weiter zu fahren, schließlich war es die vorletzte Bahn! Doch dann geschah es, die torfige Stelle war in der Nacht kaum erkennbar und auch der 2. Drescher fuhr die ganze Zeit neben mir.... Doch seht selbst. Klugscheißer Sprüche akzeptier ich nur von Leuten die selbst 400ha in Lettland gedroschen haben. ;) Viel Spaß wenn 2 Fendt 900er und ein schwerer Kettenbagger Atlantis 1 bergen!

The video is showing prepping tires for Nebraska Tests. These tractors are tested at the Nebraska Tractor Test Lab on a concrete track. New Tires provide inconsistant results during the tests. As part of the preparation for these tests, the tires need to be heated to cure them. In addition, the tread bars on the tires are worn down to about 60% of new height. For more info on the tests, go to http://tractortestlab.unl.edu/ This a MT965B Tractor (approx $350,000) being prepped for testing. The entire video was about 12 minutes before editing. The tractor weighs about 60,000 and has 12 tires mounted. The tires are 18 inches wide with 50 inch rims. They cost about $1500 each. The test cart behind it is weighted to about 98,000 lbs and can stop a 750 HP tractor dead in its tracks. It is used to measure drawbar pull.

Transfer-Dump Race: The Complete Run
Mark Tarascou and his Pete 359 is seen participating in a transfer-dump competiton at the 2011 Truckin' For Kids Truck Show. Although there were a few glitches, it was still a good show. For those not familiar with dump trucks like these, they are set up with a system that allows the driver to back the truck up while they are standing behind it to make attaching the towbar easier. The driver puts the truck in reverse gear and shuts the engine off. At the rear is a switch or a button that is used to engage the starter motor on the engine without starting the truck. Since the transmission is in reverse, as the starter motor turns the engine it also turns the driveline and backs the truck up.
