1965 Dodge Coronet acceleration part 1
This is up to a little over 5000 rpm - roller valvetrain probably has over 6000 in it. Still working on a few bugs, so I haven't really pushed it yet. Engine is a '77 440 block (+.030) with KB 10.3:1 hyper pistons, Edelbrock RPM heads, Comp 308R (262 @ .050/.575 lift) solid roller cam, Weiand tunnel ram with Holley 4160 600 cfm carbs. Summit universal 3" X-pipe to Magnaflow 11229 mufflers dumped at the axle. Mopar 8 3/4" (489) rear end with 3.91 suregrip gears. Trans is a 727 built with Hughes parts, turbo Action "Cheetah" reverse manual valvebody, and ACC Boss Hog 3600 stall converter. Color is a BASF single stage urethane enamel called "Red." Camera is a Panasonic DMC-ZS3 - you can watch the video in HD. I accidentally left the wind filter setting on, so you don't get as good of sound quality with this one.

The car to a company the the engine Dyno vid. 1963 Nova SS, custom hood fiber glass hood, new front end, tubbed, caged (8 point), racing seat, stripped interior. 468 cu engine, two speed power glide, ford 9" and some big bloody tires.... Pretty much everything on the car is new. It is going to be getting an engine refresh, new aluminum heads, custom oil pan, custom rocker covers, 4 stage dry sump, new torque converter, new custom read end and a new drive shaft.

This Screamin' Eagle had just run a 9.78 @ 137 in the quarter mile and 6.16 in the 1/8 @ 112. Stock bore 454 with roller cam and 2-4's. I cruise it all the time on the streets. Check out some of my other vids of this Wheelstanding Crazy Eagle. The underside of the front end is damaged right now because it stood on the rear bumper its last run.

Short clip to let you know what this cam sounds like. I had the recent rebuild, and chose this cam. I matched the Lunati recommendation of minimum compression ratio 10.5:1 domes, aftermarket 67 cc World heads, Victor Jr intake, 750 Mighty Demon carb. headers, old Flowmasters - 2 1/4 Exhaust, 18 degrees initial timing. I drive the car on the street. This cam has no issues off idle. My drum brakes leave a little to be desired. I was hesitant to go with the larger cam, but I am happy I did.

'63 Chevy Truck
.040 over 283 with #462 double hump heads, Lunati Voodoo 60104 cam(.504/.525 lift, 234/241 duration at .50 lift, 110lsa) and lifters, approxamatly 9.5 to 1 compression. All of the internals have been fully ballenced, and have ARP rod and main bollts. Its also got an Edelbrock performer RPM intake manifold with 600cfm carb. This engine was first started a day prior to this video, so its still being broken in.
