The cars never touched, but it was awful close.
Greg's Corvette shook the tires so violently that it broke the tailhousing
of the transmission, thus leaking all the fluid out, and once under the
tires, it was all over from there. Greg's car went left, across center, and
hit the wall at roughly a 45 degree angle going in the ballpark of 150
miles per hour. DJ locked up the brakes to miss Greg, and in doing so spun
180 degrees and went drivers side first into the right wall.
