In continuation of my "Short Takes" video series at All City Auto, I give a tour of a 2002 VW Passat V6. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
B5.5 Passat 1.8T ABT Top Speed Run 250 km/h (155.3 MPH)
This is a B5.5(2001.5-2005 Generation) top speed run on the Autobahn. I'm not really sure how modified it is, but from the video it seems like it's only been delimited and it doesn't seem like it's putting out any more than 170 BHP at the flywheel that the stock 1.8T does.
2004 Volkswagen Passat 1.8t Cold Start & Dash View
Cold start & dash of a 2004 VW passat with the 1.8 turbo 4 cylinder engine. This car has the dreaded 1.8 turbo, which was notorious for burning oil.
I liked the dash layout and the contrast between the blue gauges and the red information center. However the quality of these cars have much to be desired, usually the message center has pixels burned out, and I noticed some buttons were broken on the dash.
