The heater valve inlet hose is Honda part number 79721-SV4-000 if you wish
to go OEM that part number is for 94-97 Accords. They are available
aftermarket as well.
The distributor leaking oil if left unchecked for long enough will drip oil
onto the heater core inlet hose directly below it. Which will prematurely
break down the rubber and could leave you stranded with a burst hose.
It's relatively easy to get to it and replace it with the distributor off
and I explain the process step by step.
After you're done you'll want to refill and bleed the cooling system. If

As technicians we all have opinions based on our experiences and sometimes
the experiences of others, stop leak seems to be one of those things. In
my experience it really hasn't done much for me and I haven't seen it
perform any miracles but that's not to say that it hasn't at one time or
another. I welcome your responses on this topic and look forward to
hearing your opinions just be nice.

1974 CORVETTE HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT NON AC
Here we are replacing the heater core on our 1974 Corvette. This is a non
AC version. Everyone told me that you can only replace the heater core from
inside the car and the Dash and other parts must come out causing this to
be a 6-8 hour or more job. This is typical with most cars as it is true,
the Dash must come out along with many other parts making it not a fun job
at all !! But.. They were all wrong !! The Heater Core comes out from the
engine side making replacement a snap!! It took us an hour maybe and that
was only because I wanted to replace the Heater Hoses and clamps as well. I
hope this video helps someone as I could not find anything about heater
core replacement for this particular car. So.. Here it is !! Again.. I
hope this video helps .. Enjoy..
