How To Unclog a Heater Core - EricTheCarGuy
Heater problems in the winter suck. But with a little diagnosis you can
usually figure out the problem. Heater cores can get clogged from time to
time and this video presents a solution to that problem should you have it.
BTW, the product used in the video was CLR. If you KNOW you have a clogged
heater core this procedure is a good thing to try to help fix the problem.
However, if you are having heating problems I would suggest you check for
air in the cooling system first before performing this procedure. The #1
cause of heating problems is actually air in the cooling system. More
information on how to deal with HVAC issues can be found in this article I

1974 CORVETTE HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT NON AC
Here we are replacing the heater core on our 1974 Corvette. This is a non
AC version. Everyone told me that you can only replace the heater core from
inside the car and the Dash and other parts must come out causing this to
be a 6-8 hour or more job. This is typical with most cars as it is true,
the Dash must come out along with many other parts making it not a fun job
at all !! But.. They were all wrong !! The Heater Core comes out from the
engine side making replacement a snap!! It took us an hour maybe and that
was only because I wanted to replace the Heater Hoses and clamps as well. I
hope this video helps someone as I could not find anything about heater
core replacement for this particular car. So.. Here it is !! Again.. I
hope this video helps .. Enjoy..
