1969 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible 383 V8 Muscle Car

I thought you'd like a look at this nicely restored 1969 Plymouth Road Runner convertible. It's powered by a nicely detailed 383 V8 four barrel, backed by the 727 Torqueflite automatic. All the power is sent back to the 8 3/4 inch rear with 3.23 Posi gears. It's a sharp looking car all the way around and an excellent example of Mopar Muscle. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching! Filmed at Gateway Classic Cars in Fairmont City, IL ( Near St. Louis, MO) Background track is Whiskey on the Mississippi by Kevin MacLeod. I thought you'd like a look at this nicely restored 1968 Dodge Dart GT convertible. This car is really looking great, inside and out. Under the hood, you'll find a nicely detailed 360 V8, topped by an Edelbrock 4 BBL Carb. All the power is being sent through a 727 Torqueflite automatic with the shifter on the console. The paint is slick, it's riding on a nice set of Rally wheels, and the interior looks almost like new as well. This is definitely a nice example of Mopar muscle. Thanks for taking a look! Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV This is a complete walk around and inside tour of the awesome 1966 Union Pacific Rotary Snowplow. The #900081 is truly an awesome beast. It's the heaviest of it's kind and it's powered by a massive GM/EMD 16 Cylinder turbo Diesel that cranks out 3000 horsepower. All the power from it's massive engine goes to power the 12 foot diameter rotary blades. Those blades can spin at a maximum of 150 RPM and they generate a tremendous amount of force. This huge machine was pushed through the snow by as many as 4 locomotives. I'd like to give special thanks to the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, Missouri, for allowing me the opportunity to film this amazing marvel of engineering. 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible Classic Muscle Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! Outside of the infamous Shelby Mustangs, there aren't many Ford pony cars that are more desirable than a 1965 Mustang convertible, which is exactly what we have here. It has been restored and detailed to a very high standard, and is ready to show, drive, and enjoy today. Buy now or regret it later, and don't say I didn't warn you. The body on this ragtop is in excellent condition, having been fully restored in 2007. The body received extensive work to get it this straight and clean, and panel alignment is very, very good. The deep red metallic paint shines better than the original ever did. Look at the photos again and check out the shut lines on those doors, -- there's no sagging, no sign of fatigue in the rockers, nothing. This car was restored to better than new condition in every measurable way, and has been driven less than 2,000 miles since its completion. There are no ripples, no waves, no dings, just perfect, flat, straight sheet metal everywhere you look. The chrome and trim on this car were also restored or replaced during the restoration, and everything is in first-rate shape today. The bumpers have to be new, since they are completely wave-free. Out back, the Exhaust trumpets protrude from the rear valence and sound amazing. The engine compartment in this D-code convertible is highly detailed. The block has been freshly painted black, not Ford Blue as many people think it should be, and shows very few signs of usage. The 289ci, Edelbrock intake and 4 bbl Holley carb has a mild cam and runs strong. There is a high torque starter, chrome alternator, and a beautiful restoration job on the power steering pump. The MSD billet distributor, MSD coil and Taylor wires are all new. Check out the finish inside this engine bay! From the underside of the hood, to the inner fenders, to the core support and radiator, no expense was spared! New horns, original Ford replacement radiator hose and factory clamps were all included in the restoration. The attention to detail under this hood is incredible. The transmission is a smooth shifting C4 automatic. The rear end has been stripped and beautifully repainted flat black. Ceramic coated headers, new Flowmaster mufflers and stainless steel pipes handle the Exhaust. Out back you will find rebuilt springs and drum brakes, and up front you will see the steering gear has been rebuilt with new pressure lines and bushings. A new gas tank, fuel lines and fuel pump were included in the restoration. Up front you will see new motor mounts, a new transmission cooler line, cross over tube, and drum brakes up front. The rust free frame is in outstanding condition, as are the floorboards. Everything is clean, nicely painted, and the spot welds are visible. There is a small amount of patch work in the floorboards near the rockers, and it has been very well done. The frame has been given some extra support to handle the convertible lifestyle. The fully restored standard bucket seat interior is absolutely. The seats feature new foam under fresh seat covers, the door panels are new, and fresh carpet is on the floors underneath Mustang embroidered floor mats. The dash and gauges have been fully restored. There is a Custom Autosound replica AM/FM radio with Pioneer speakers mounted in the door panels. The pristine console houses the automatic shifter, and overhead the convertible top is new. The plastic rear window is clear and unblemished, and the convertible top boot that covers it all looks to have never been used. These convertible pony cars are an absolute blast to drive. With a high-quality restoration this would be an incredible summer driver that would be welcome at any show. Go ahead and try to find a nicer one for sale today. We'll wait, but only until the next guy calls and buys it. Call now! 7 Days a week 248-974-9513 www.vanguardmotorsales.com

1969 Plymouth Road Runner Classic Muscle Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! 1969 Plymouth Road Runner History The Plymouth Road Runner was a performance car built by the Plymouth division of the Chrysler Corporation in the United States between 1968 and 1980. In 1968, the first muscle cars were moving away from their roots as relatively cheap, fast cars as they gained options. Although Plymouth already had a performance car in the GTX, designers decided to go back to the drawing board and reincarnate the original muscle car concept. Plymouth wanted a car able to run 14-second times in the quarter mile and sell for less than $3000. Both goals were met, and the low-cost muscle car hit the street. The 1969 model kept the same basic look but with some slight changes such as tail lights and grille, side marker lights, optional bucket seats, and new Road Runner decals. In 1969 the 383ci engine was the standard powerplant, and the 426ci Hemi was the only engine option available for the Road Runner until mid year production. The 440 cubic inch engine option with three Holley 2 barrel carburetors was added to the lineup at mid-year. The Plymouth Road Runner was named Motor Trend "Car of the Year" for 1969. VIN RM23H9A256863 This Road Runner has had a professional rotisserie restoration. Included in the sale of this 1969 Road Runner are what has been said to be the original intake, heads, air cleaner, valve covers, carburetor and spare tire. 1971 Cutlass SX455 Convertible 442 W30 Clone Classic Muscle Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible SX455, 442 W-30 Clone History In 1970 and 1971 Oldsmobile introduced a notchback intermediate called the Cutlass Supreme. This new Oldsmobile was available with a special named the Cutlass Supreme SX. The Cutlass SX featured a 455ci engine, a 400 turbo Hydra-matic transmission, a cut out rear bumper with dual Exhaust, special SX badges on the fenders and other goodies not found on a standard Cutlass Supreme. In 1971 there was only one Cutlass SX engine option. The production numbers for this two-year-only (1970-71) model are less than half of the highly collectable Oldsmobile 442 models, plus many of the Cutlass SX cars were sent to the junk yard crusher before the car became collectable. The Olds Cutlass SX is truly a very rare GM muscle car! All 1970-71 Cutlass Supremes had the same basic VIN codes, so identifying a real Cutlass SX can be difficult. The Cutlass SX cars are valued at 20-25 percent more than a regular Cutlass Supreme model. The Cutlass SX is certainly THE "undiscovered" General Motors muscle car, and will continue to gain in popularity and value as more collector car enthusiasts discover these cars.
