Inside Tour of Union Pacific 3000HP Rotary Snow Plow Heaviest Ever Produced
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV This is a complete walk around and inside tour of the awesome 1966 Union Pacific Rotary Snowplow. The #900081 is truly an awesome beast. It's the heaviest of it's kind and it's powered by a massive GM/EMD 16 Cylinder turbo Diesel that cranks out 3000 horsepower. All the power from it's massive engine goes to power the 12 foot diameter rotary blades. Those blades can spin at a maximum of 150 RPM and they generate a tremendous amount of force. This huge machine was pushed through the snow by as many as 4 locomotives. I'd like to give special thanks to the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, Missouri, for allowing me the opportunity to film this amazing marvel of engineering. 1970 Plymouth Super Bird
The short-lived Plymouth Road Runner Superbird was a highly modified version of the Plymouth Road Runner with well known graphics and horn. It was the factory's follow up stock car racing design for the 1970 season to the Dodge Charger Daytona of 1969, and incorporated many engineering changes and modifications (both minor and major) garnered from the Daytona's season in competition on the track. The car's primary rival was the Ford Torino Talladega, which in itself was a direct response to the Mopar aero car. It has also been speculated one major motivating factors in the production of the car was to lure Richard Petty back to Plymouth. Both of the Mopar aero cars famously featured a protruding, aerodynamic nosecone, a high-mounted rear wing and, in the case of the Superbird, the same horn which mimicked the Road Runner cartoon character.

133322 / 1969 Plymouth Road Runner
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/cvfadk8 If you bought into the notion that cartoons are for kids, drop it and get behind the wheel of this '69 Plymouth Road Runner. With one of the greatest designs of the day backed by the single greatest engine of the time, this no-frills thriller encapsulates everything that was right about the muscle car era. Plymouth designers took the basic idea of stripped-down racer and translated into one of the most sturdy looking designs of the muscle car era. Comprised largely of straight lines and angles, the Road Runner doesn't look muscular like most of its competitors -- it looks indestructible. This B-body looks especially tough in its coat of B7 Jamaica Blue paint with longitudinal white stripes accenting the body lines. Fresh out of an extensive restoration, the paint work is first rate and displays a level of depth that factory sprayed cars simply can't compete with. Chrome not looks heavy -- it is heavy. To keep the weight down, Plymouth designers kept their use of shiny bits to a minimum. The result is an industrial grade look that let's everybody know this car is all business. From the performance hood to the iconic Roadrunner decals, everything is here and looking better than new. From the name to the design, the Roadrunner was built with one intention -- eliminating stop light competition. While the base 383 was nothing to laugh at, it was the 426 Hemi that made the car a legend. This is a true Hemi car and the date-coded Elephant between the frame rails looks right at home, dressed with a Coyote Duster air cleaner, wrinkle finish valve covers and the token orange overspray on the negative battery cable. The engine fires up on the first try and behaves well for a Hemi. Take a look underneath the pristine body and you'll find a clean undercarriage with lots of correct hardware and solid floorpans that wear just the right amount of Jamaica Blue overspray. In the center, an 18-spline A833 four-speed manual transmission transfers power down the driveshaft and out to the Dana 60 differential packed with 4.10 gears. The suspension remains stock with manual steering and power drum brakes. At the corners, body-matched steel wheels wear dog dishes with Goodyear F70-15's protecting them from the pavement. Between the Jamaica Blue doors, a fully restored H2X black vinyl interior awaits. While you may expect a stripped down muscle car to be uncomfortable, this Plymouth is just the opposite. The rebuilt bench seat is surprisingly accommodating and offers just enough support to make long trips a legitimate possibility. From the carpet to the headliner, all the soft pieces appear to be new and combine to form a showroom quality cabin. Documentation includes two copies of the fender tag broken down by Mopar master Galen Govier. There is also an impressive stack of receipts from big-time shops such as Mancini Racing and Roger Gibson Auto Restoration. Even after a quick glance through the stack, you'll be glad someone else footed the bill on this build. If you're ready to hit the road with Hemi power, dust off a place in your collection for this awesome '69 Road Runner! Call, click or visit http://rkmotorscharlotte.com for more information!
