This is the Promotional film GM put out for the 1982 Corvette. I know it
wasnt the best year but it was the LAST of the C3's!! and they only made
alittle over 18 thousand of them!! Enjoy!!
Ten Rules For Buying Your First C3 Corvette
In this video I talk about the ten things you need to know when buying your
first C3 Corvette. It is very easy to pay too much and buy a car with major
problems, but with this video you wont have to worry about that again.
Below is a link to the original article I wrote back in 2008
1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray - #99 DET
1972 Chevrolet Corvette for sale in our Detroit Showroom. This is a
survivor in its original paint according to the seller, and only 83,817
miles on the clock. War Bonnet Yellow paint makes this Vette for sale stand
out amongst the red, blue, and black ones at the shows! Options include
AM/FM/CD player, t-tops, power brakes, power steering, tilt and telescopic
wheel, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, rally wheels, and numbers
matching drivetrain. The original 350 CID V8 rated at 200 HP still carries
the partial VIN stamp and the CKW suffix code clear and easy to read and it
is backed by the original wide ratio 4 speed manual transmission. 1972 was
the last year from chrome bumpers in both front and back of the Corvette so
these have become highly collectible. They are only original once and this
one is mostly original and in great shape! The engine was detailed and the
seats were correctly recovered in 1996 to keep up appearances and the
original paint still shines well for its age. The 200 horsepower was more a sign
of the rating systems than a true power loss from the previous year.
Engines were now rated with net horsepower opposed to gross
the year before. This took into consideration losses from the air cleaner,
Exhaust systems, and accessories like
power steering. This car will still move and get you thumbs up everywhere
you go! The Exhaust note ringing from
the dual Exhaust is exactly what you
expect with a C3 Corvette! Located in our Detroit Showroom, this 1972
Corvette Stingray for sale can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or

1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom
1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible for sale! This beautiful Corvette
Roadster is decked out in its original color, Nassau Blue, as well as black
vinyl interior and it really stands out in a crowd. It is a 327 CID V8, 350
HP car that still has its original engine and 4 speed manual transmission
mounted under the car and has had only 4,000 miles since they were rebuilt.
There has been a lot of work done to this car over the last several years
to make it as nice as it is - it was painted in 2006, had a new interior
installed, has a new manual convertible top, new Exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers, and had the
front suspension and brakes gone through. It has even had the time and
expense spent to take the gauges out and re-silk screened and calibrated.
Options include AM/FM radio, power disc brakes, power steering, seat belts,
vinyl interior, white wall radial tires that were new a mere 4,000 miles
ago, and hub caps. This is one nice Sting Ray, and these second generation
Corvettes are getting harder and harder to find every year! Don't wait and
miss the chance on this one! Please call our St. Louis showroom at
800-231-3616 or 618-271-3000 for additional information.
2014 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta vs 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 vs 2013 Porsche 911 C4S! Head 2 Head Ep 42
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Carlos Lago and Randy Pobst restage our
annual Best Driver's Car competition with this year's winning Porsche 911
Carrera 4S plus two contenders that missed the initial dance, the all-new
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and the explosive, exotic Ferrari F12
Berlinetta. The Ferrari is the most powerful car we've ever taken around
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with its ferocious 6.3-liter 731 horsepower V-12. The
Corvette comes packing the latest version of GM's venerable small block, a
6.2-liter cam-in-block V-8 that kicks out 460 hp and 465 pound-feet of
torque. The Porsche and its relatively tiny 3.8-liter flat-6 might seem out
gunned, but remember that for the last two years the 911 has beaten back
every BDC challenger we've thrown at it. Does the Corvette have what it
takes to dethrone the 911? Does the wailing Ferrari? Watch and find out!

1969 Corvette 427 test drive
1969 Corvette 427 test drive and inspection. For me, this is pretty much
the perfect Corvette. It's Black, it's got a 427, of course it has a 4
speed, and it's my favorite body style. Not to mention this car has
documented original low miles and it's nearly all correct.

Now & Then - Corvette Stingray
Whether it's classic or brand new, a Corvette Stingray offers up a sense of
excitement few cars can match.
We pair a classic 1965 Stingray with a brand new 2014 Stingray. And when
the two legends come together it's a beautiful thing.
