This is my 2009 G8 GT. This is just basically to show how The tune will chirp up through third gear. Mods are Roto-Fab intake, custom Exhaust, HSRK, catch can, and the Vector engine and transmission tunes. Nothing really happens after the first minute, just driving. Traction control is on, and I rolled into 1st to keep it from spinning. Also shifted before 6000, it redlines at 6200.
Pontiac G8 GT drag racing in car
My Pontiac G8 GT at Cordova Dragway. Runs were made during National G8 meet September 2011. Mods are Volant intake, Vector Motorsports stage 1.5 cam and tune, Kooks headers w/catted midpipe system to stock axleback mufflers. Last run was personal best 12.95 at 109.8 mph on the last run. This was with street tires 285-35-19 Nitto Invo, so not great traction, best 60ft is over 2 seconds. Drag tires should help with that, hopefully.

Vector Motorsports built LS3 7.0 Liter with Mast Black Label Heads, Kooks Long Tube Headers, and Corsa Cat Back Exhaust. Benchmark Motoring installed JL Audio Sound System. Pedders Coil Over Suspension. Northwest Auto Salon installed full Venture Shield protection. Aldrecrest Auto Rebuild, the front end conversion and tons of the little details. Carb Connection installed motor, torque converter, and tons of little stuff.

Vector Motorsports Single Turbo G8 Kit
This is the first test system. Final product will have T-bolt clamps and be cleaned up a bit. This is a 6-7 lb base kit designed to be bolted on a stock G8. Upgrades will be offered.
2008 Pontiac G8 GT Top Speed Run (Completely Stock)
Pontiac G8 GT performing a top speed run to see what this, arguably the greatest pontiac ever built, is capable of achieving in completely stock trim. (p.s. i know its just a rebadged commodore)
Superchips cortex programmer only used to raise the stock speed limiter, no other options were changed and no tunes were installed.
Stock trim, nothing removed from the car at all, not even the spare tire. Run was done with 3/8th of a tank of gas.
Car in its stock form: 361 hp & 385 ft. lbs. tq. 3,995 lbs. curb weight
Vector Motorsports G8 (No Converter Necessary) Cam Kit - Idle
VMS Camshaft Kit at idle. This kit replaces the AFM system on the G8 with heavy duty LS3 parts. We use a custom billet Comp Cam with Dual Valve Springs and Hardened Pushrods.
Peak gains were 67 HP & 57 LB/FT Torque. The car tested has Kooks Full length headers with HF Cats and a New Era OTR intake.
