CRX LS/VTEC SWAP! HSG EP. 4-18
This is a little different. Our friend Haji has a CRX that he's had for over a year and needed to replace the engine for daily use. Thomas sold his old LS/VTEC swap to Haji and we swapped it in with some other parts around. this isn't a show car project or anything just a good ole' swap.
Fully Built LS-Vtec: B18A1 block re-sleeved bored to 84.5mm, b16a3 head ported and polished, skunk intake port matched, 11.5/1 CR, 68mm TB, Skunk 2 pro2 cams, supertech valves, Wisco pistons, Eagle rods, block girdle, aem cold air intake, 370cc RC injectors, high flow fuel pump, Try-Y header, 2.75" Custom Built Exhaust by yours truly, Hondata s200,...Tuned to 245.9Hp @ 8200rpm, torque 174ft-lbs @ 4500 Crappy Vibrant muffler picks I would recommed Magnaflow! https://picasaweb.google.com/106946973695361007139/MufflerVibrant?authuser= 0&feat=directlink
Fully built LS/VTEC first start
Technically this is the second start up but the fist one of it running properly. The other one I had the firing order messed up so it sounded like doo doo. Anyway she is my pride and joy there should be plenty more videos to follow as I break in the motor and install the turbo kit. The motor is mid compression forged internals ctr cams, The bay has been tucked and shaved.
