RARE PERFECT CONDITION 1941 Buick Super 50 Phaeton 4 door Convertible FOR SALE
http://www.flemingsultimategarage.com/1941-buick-super-50-phaeton-4-door-co nvertible-c-1946.htm 1941 Buick Super 50 Phaeton convertible sedan, the first opportunity in 70 years to own the #1 judged Buick in the world! It's believed to be the first Phaeton built as well as 1 of only 467 U.S cars built that year, less than 1% of the 377,428 cars Buick produced in '41! 5 year, no expense spared, photo chronicled with 1600 photos, 1000's of receipts totaling a documented $220,000! Restoration was done by the #1 Buick authority in the world Bill Anderson and the entire process is authenticated by noted Buick historian Terry Dunham. Judged one time, scoring a 394 points out of a possible score of 400 (99%) by known authorities Buick club of America and the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America). This Buick also garnered both Gold and Senior AACA awards, almost unheard of for any automobile. Talk about show detailed driveline components, painted grey for the first production cars ( later they became red) Freshly rebuilt 248cid "fireball" Dynaflash inline 8 cylinder with twin down draft carburetors, rebuilt super smooth 3 speed manual transmission, freshly rebuilt and detailed rear differential. Original color coded wiring, still retaining the Generator equipped electrical system, its engine compartment detailing is world class. Mirror finished in its correct Carlsbad black paint, show waxed and detailed, great looking red (pre distressed) leather interior with seating for 6. Correct coded tan cloth Stafast convertible top w/ red piping. All new triple plated chrome and polished stainless trim, restored and working Tube type Sonomatic AM radio, working windshield wiper system, restored 3 spoke "Banjo" style steering wheel, great looking engine turned dash trim, fully restored array of gauges including 120mph Speedo-Amps-Water and Fuel gauge. Even the trunk was not only classy, its restoration is beautiful with two tiered shelving, houndstooth mat and original date coded 1940 spare tire! Color matched correct 16" wheels w/ pinstripes, wide whitewall tires and polished center caps. All the descriptions of the most spectacular restoration in the world are still second to how this car feels and the smiles it evokes when she rolls down the road. Great acceleration, super tight chassis, rattle and squeak, its grace is recognized by every passerby with a thumbs up. This is really the way to buy a collector car, the restoration funded by someone else and then own it for just about half price. These are considered the next "Duesenberg "in the terms of cars to appreciate quickly, it was also the last 4 door convertible built by GM. Also keep in mind that World War II was the next year and vehicle production virtually ceased, again just another notch of rarity. Get yourself not only a great investment, but a great car to show or just drive. http://www.flemingsultimategarage.com/ 301.816.1000

1970 Buick GS STK 1409
With all the original parts still present and accounted for on this numbers matching GS Stage 1, restoration merely involved rebuilding and reinstalling the original engine, then returning each of the individual components to as-new condition. Every finish was exactly duplicated, from the front spoiler to the trunk wing. The engine bay looks at least as good as it did the day it rolled out of the assembly plant (and probably better). Every detail is correct, from the shift markings on the firewall, to the stampings on the various parts, to the belts, hoses, and clamps. The 455 cubic inch engine runs ferociously, springing to life with a snarl from the correct dual Exhaust system. For a big block, this one sure likes to rev, and you'll want to wind it out through all four gears with the 4 speed manual any time you get the chance, just to hear the song it sings. The original heads come with the car and are ready for installation if total pedigree is what your looking for. This bright silver paint is about as sinister as they come. As a high dollar investment grade car, no expense was spared on the body and paintwork. Extra care was used to retain the original panels and then straighten them to as new condition even the hood is believed to be the original piece, as bright silver paint can be seen in the deepest corners of the scoop. The condition of every component is further proof that this car lived an easy life. Two stage urethane was used to finish the car, and it looks spectacular in the sunlight. There's enough metallic to make it glitter, but the silver is so rich that the term 'bright' does not correctly describe how deep it looks. Inside, you'll find the most spectacular original GS Stage 1 interior you've ever seen. Look at the detailing on the seat pleats, and you'll know these are artists seat covers. The steering wheel is an original piece, restored to new condition and not a reproduction, although we cannot confirm that it this car was originally 1 of 55 GS Stage 1 4 speeds it doesn't seem all that improbable that the owner would have wanted the much rarer manual transmission.. Does it hurt the value of the car? Not a bit. Documentation, as you might imagine, is extensive. We have all the photos from the restoration, which also shows the vital casting numbers and stampings that you can't see any more now that the car is assembled. We also have the build sheet, which is a nice bit of history. We have a pile of receipts for all the restoration work. Then there's the experts, which say of this car that it was one of the cleanest, most authentic and original GS Stage 1's they have ever seen, and one of only a handful that still carries the numbers matching 455 cubic inch with the 4 speed. This vehicle is located in our Charlotte, NC showroom. For more information, please call (704) 598-2130 or toll free (866) 542-8392.
