Ranger C6 Z06 11.06 Bone-Stock on DRs (Drag Radials)

Record run for a bone-stock (zero mods) Corvette on drag radials. Run at MIR in Maryland, on October 29, 2006. Density altitude was 825 feet. Other passes that day were 11.08 and 11.10. Ranger says, "Mod the driver not the car" and "practice, practice, practice." Stay tuned; won't stop until the car is in the 10s bone-stock. This is the all-time record for a stock Corvette with DOT drag radial tires on the rear. No other change to the car. My 52d pass in this 2006 Z06. Breaking in the new Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials. Street legal '69 Z/28 Camaro. 355 SBC. AFR 190cc heads, Comp Xtreme Energy 284H cam. 12 bolt with 4.10s. TCI turbo 400. 11.97 at 114 mph on the motor. 11.28 at 121 mph with a 125 shot of Nitrous.

Ranger makes a shake-down run in a borrowed C6Z06. Later in the day ran an 11.29@125.27. Car is bone stock.

Ranger 2002 Z06 11.55 117.69 Cold-Air Intake & Drag Radials
This is the only perfect pass I've ever driven at the drag strip. The launch produced a 1.64 60' time. The shifts were very good and at the perfect rpm. The Density Altitude was 1200 feet. The car Dynoed 363 rwhp and 349 rwtq. This remains the fastest pass for a C5 Z06 with only deviation from bone-stock being a cold-air intake and DOT drag radial tires. Filmed at Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek, Maryland on November 9, 2002. Two years later I finally eclipsed this time by .03 in exceptional weather conditions.

Bone stock ZR1 with just drag radials pulls 134.55mph run at MIR raceway January 6th 2011. This was just a few runs before his record setting 10.66 pass. Kyle/ blownlt1&c6Z is easily one of the best if not the best ZR1 driver to date!
