Worlds fastest street legal ELECTRIC CAR 1972 Datsun 1200 Whtie Zombie.
This car is based in Oregon... there are something like 18 hydro electric
power plants in that state! Hydro generation accounts for 58% of all
electricity in Oregon (Over 70% in Washington) and coal accounts for less
Only about 15% of the energy from the fuel you put in your tank gets used
to move your car down the road or run useful accessories, such as air
conditioning. The rest of the energy is lost to engine and driveline
inefficiencies and idling. Therefore, the potential to improve fuel
efficiency with advanced technologies is enormous. With an Electric Car it
costs just $1.00 per 100kms with MUCH more performance than with petrol at
$20.00 per 100kms.
EVs use between 1/6th and 1/10th the energy of a comparable ICE powered

Datsun 1200 White Zombie DC Electric Car. This is a low tech DC system that
doesn't have regeneration, but the parts are readily available and it's a
fairly easy garage conversion.
Jon McDougal's Electric Beetle
Jon retrofitted this 1974 beetle into an all electric vehicle, and then
refurbished it so it looks really sharp. The parts for the conversion were
about $10,000 and once all the parts are available, the conversion could be
done in about three days. This vehicle qualified for the $6,000 tax credit.
Speed Records Killacycle
Subject: Killacycle on 'Rapid Turnover; Speed Records' on the Speed Channel
I just got a call from a friend who was watching the Speed Channel and saw
the Killacycle, the world's fastest electric motorcycle
on the show "Speed Records". If you pause at the exact right moment, you
can see me in there. But what I'm most
proud of is the Battery Management System I designed, developed, and
assembled to handle the A123 Lithium Ion Battery pack. The
pack consists of 990 cells; the _exact_ same cells used in DeWalt's new 36V
Lithium Ion product line. This BMS can be seen on the
Killacycle segment when you see those green LEDs glowing, and later in the
show in the White Zombie segment. Later tonight I'll
post a copy of this video on YouTube (after I finish cleaning up after the
flood). I bet if you search for "Killacycle"
and "Speed Records" you will be able to find it on YouTube.
If you would like to see more, you can look at my web site at
www.Ciciora.com, the motorcycle web site at www.Killacyle.com, or
there are a bunch of videos posted on YouTube.com Just search for
"Killacycle" on YouTube.com. One of my videos I filmed and
uploaded has over a quarter million views, and is the #90 most linked video
of all time under "Autos and Vehicles".

Datsun 510 with Honda S2000 engine
Collection of pictures showing how a stock Datsun 510 got his swap from a
03 s2000 donor ;it takes almost the same time chopping the frame for either
other swap, so I felt more confortable swapping a s2k engine & tranny on
I didn't know where to start, but somehow everything started to taking
place in a house garage with some basic tool that my grampa left me.
Overall this could be called as frankestein swap because of the info and
parts used. Ei: Subaru R160 LSD, Nissan Maxima rear calipers with KYB AGX

the brake system and plumbing. It took me around 7-8 months to finish it ,
working mostly at night and weekdays.
The main issue was to keep the most of the original geometry of the
Datsun...and basically remained the same, only for the tranny tunnel wich
it was extended. custom header and Exhaust, muffler provided by Greddy RSX type S

Tesla Roadster v White Zombie
Tom Saxton in his 2008 Tesla Roadster vs. White Zombie at the Wayland
Invitational IV at PIR on July 25, 2009.
Results: Tesla 12.989 second 1/4 mile ET at 103.42 mph, White Zombie 12.468
second 1/4 mile ET at 102.11 mph. A slow run for White Zombie made this
Tesla driver feel pretty cool keeping pace not too far behind White
Zombie's amazing launch.
