Corvette Review & Drive HD
A nice review and drive in a C5 Corvette with the LS1 engine. Lots of power
and torque, plus amazing gas mileage (if you can avoid mashing the pedal)

2004 Chevrolet Corvette 6MT, Review, Walkaround, Exhaust, Test Drive
Last model year of the C5 body style. We think its a surprisingly
drive-able sports car with an interior that screams plastic-fantastic.
While Corvette's have always been a bit crude and rough around the edges,
you just can't beat the performance this car offers over more expensive
"An excellent car that never ceases to amaze us. Cheap interior trimmings
aside, the current-generation Corvette is the best thing GM has going for
Yellow C5 Corvette with Corsa Pro Touring exhaust
This is my brother Jarrod' 2004 custom order millenium yellow 6spd coupe
with rear Z06 brake ducting, Z06 gear and handling package, black and tan
leather interior. The only C5 with these factory options in California.
Corsa Pro Touring cat-back with x-pipe. The Camera doesn't do the sound
justice. One day he took it to the track and ruined all 4 tires drifting /
autocross and also got pulled over by an admiring police officer who wanted
to hear what it sounded like!

Can a Nissan Versa beat a Corvette?
Matt always buys impractical cars and tries to justify them as practical,
even though they are far from it. Dan makes him put his money where his
mouth is by holding a practicality challenge against the most practical car
in the US: a base Nissan Versa.
Great Idea for lifting a car
Here is an outstanding idea for lifting and working safely under any
automobile. This Lift Stands is made to be used with any type of floor
jack, and they do not get in the way like jack stands do. They are great to
use for doing any type of work under the car or simply changing the motor
oil. Bigger guys that need the extra room will love them. Lift Stands also
can be used at car shows for displaying your car. I also like using them
when doing body work for a more comfortable position when working on a side
Vette Enough? Chevy Corvette Tested by Inside Line
FOLLOW-UP TEST BY EDMUNDS' INSIDE LINE:
Kicking GM while it's enduring the bitter sting of bankruptcy seems so
sophomoric. And so do the massive powerslides we've been doing in the
company's 2009 Chevrolet Corvette, so let's begin this review on a positive
note by discussing one of the Vette's finer points: Acceleration.
First thing you need to know: At wide-open throttle, the LS3 under the
Corvette's hood does subtlety like Jessica Simpson does brains. That is to
say, not so well — which is awesome, actually. Nailing the gas in this,
the tamest of Vettes, is akin to unleashing a thousand pushrod-wielding
Hulk Hogans on the car's rear tires. There's a blast of torque followed by
a double underhook suplex of forward force. It's as impressive as it is
surprising. This is, after all, only a base Corvette. But it's got motor.
The LS3 is possibly the best bargain in the world when it comes to eight
cylinders arranged in a vee, and it defines the modern Corvette. In our
hands it blasts this 3,275-pound coupe to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds (4.0
seconds with 1 foot rollout like on a drag strip). But it doesn't stop
there. The quarter-mile is incinerated in 12.3 seconds at 116 mph. The trip
from 100 to 120 mph takes 4 seconds flat — only 0.3 second slower than
the often-drooled-over and far costlier Nissan GT-R. And the fun continues,
according to Chevrolet, until 190 mph.
Replacing A Thousand Dollar Shock Absorber
Scotty Kilmer, mechanic for the last 46 years, shows there's actually a car
with shock absorbers that cost over a thousand dollars Apiece. He also
shows how to replace one in this video. And, If you like my car help, be
