The 2015 Challenger is available in eight trim levels: SXT, SXT Plus, R/T,
R/T Plus, R/T Shaker, R/T Plus Shaker, 6.4-liter Scat Pack and 392 HEMI
Scat Pack Shaker (late availability for Shaker). It will be built at the
Brampton (Ont.) Assembly plant. Production is scheduled to begin in the
third quarter of 2014.

almost 50 percent in the next five years
Dodge is building on tremendous sales momentum as it introduces the new
2015 Challenger. In March of 2014, the Dodge brand reached a significant
milestone, with Challenger and Charger sales combining to sell a total of
more than 1 million units in the United States.The previous generation
Challenger scored five solid years of continuous sales growth. In fact, in
its fifth year in the market, when most cars are on their natural decline
curve, the Dodge Challenger set an all-time sales record in 2013, doubling
sales since its launch in 2009.
All-new Scat Pack 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 gives Challenger best-in-class power
The story that packs the biggest power punch on the 2015 Dodge Challenger
is its new Scat Pack 6.4-liter HEMI powertrain. This new Scat Pack car
showcases the evolution of the performance brand while staying true to the
muscle car's 45-year heritage, with its roots harking back to Scat Pack
performance stage kits offered on 1968-71 Challengers.
With a best-in-class 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft.
of torque (projected), the 2015 Dodge Challenger 6.4-liter Scat Pack and
392 HEMI® Scat Pack Shaker models deliver up to an estimated 113 more horsepower and
65-lb.-ft. leap in torque compared with the 5.7-liter Challenger models —
representing more than a 30 percent jump in horsepower and 18 percent
jump in torque. The coupe's best-in-class power enables it to turn mid
4-second 0-60 mph times and low 12-second quarter mile times.
An active electronically controlled Exhaust gives the 2015 Dodge Challenger Scat
Pack a deep, throaty Exhaust note in
keeping with its heritage and track-bred credentials. Performance upgrades
include Brembo four-piston caliper front brakes that deliver world-class
stopping power, enabling a braking distance of 60-0 mph in 117 feet,
performance suspension, an isolated rack-mounted electric power steering
system (with three settings: Normal, Comfort and Sport), all-new
20-by-9-inch polished with black pocket aluminum wheels, high-performance
tires, standard Dodge Performance Pages, which allow driver control over a
range of vehicle settings, including steering feel, transmission response,
stability and traction controls, and standard launch control. A Scat Pack
6.4-liter badge, a 180-mph radial-numbered speedometer, and aggressive
front splitter and rear spoiler with an embedded ParkView rear backup
camera complete the package.
A special Scat Pack Appearance Group adds a unique Bumble Bee rear stripe,
Gloss Black grille surround, HID headlamps and unique 20-by-9-inch forged
lightweight Hyper Black II matte aluminum wheels. The interior features
Scat Pack embroidered high-performance seats, premium embroidered floor
mats, animated Scat Pack logo in the cluster, a high-performance steering
wheel and premium Alpine-branded audio system with 276-watt amplifier (late
availability on interior content).
Challenger R/T models include legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine and
1968 Charger / 1969 Daytona - /BIG MUSCLE Garage
The 1968 Dodge Charger and the 1969 Dodge Daytona. Two cars based off the

It happens deep in the Nevada desert, just past Austin. On a long, straight
section of road with nothing to lose, our friends in the white 1970 Dodge
Challenger R/T finally put the hammer down. At once, the rawness and purity
of Kowalski's ride pulverizes the well-insulated interior of our 2008 Dodge
Challenger SRT8, shredding the peace inside the modern car's cockpit with
the same brute force Kowalski used to pierce a hole in the cool desert air
38 years ago. Even with my right foot buried, I see nothing but taillights
until they disappear into the desert.
In these few brief seconds, the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is clearly
defined by its soft edges and quiet Exhaust. Manufacturers don't let us feel cars
raw and unfiltered anymore. Hammering down a desert road with a thin-rimmed
steering wheel and pistol-grip shifter — that's raw. Four hundred and
forty cubic inches and a four-speed — that's raw. Powerslides unhampered
by electronic intervention — that's raw.
In 1970, when Kowalski drove this very road — U.S. Highway 50 through
Nevada — he felt it. And it was raw.

vid but he got tired of being "overweight" so he shed a few doors n pounds

The new 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is powered by the new supercharged
6.2-liter HEMI V-8 engine. Its 707 horsepower matches the
highest rating of any V-8 engine in Chrysler Group’s celebrated history.
The all-new supercharged V-8 engine is mated to the beefy new TorqueFlite
8HP90 eight-speed automatic transmission.
This new Hellcat engine is Dodge and SRT’s first application of V-8 Supercharger technology, featuring a
forged-steel crankshaft with induction-hardened bearing surfaces. The
result is a crank so well-engineered it can withstand firing pressures of
110 bar (1,595 psi) – the equivalent of five family sedans standing on
each piston, every two revolutions. And its unique, specially tuned crank
damper has been tested to 13,000 rpm.
High-strength, forged-alloy pistons, developed using advanced telemetry
measurement, are coupled to powder-forged connecting rods with
high-load-capacity bushings and diamond-like-carbon-coated piston pins.
The supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 has premium-grade, heat-treated
aluminum-alloy cylinder heads, which are optimized for superior thermal
conductivity. And its die-cast aluminum rocker covers are HEMI Orange.
Standard on the Charger SRT Hellcat is the largest front-brake package ever
offered in a Chrysler Group vehicle, which were first introduced on the
2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat, featuring all-new 390-mm (15.4-inch) Brembo
two-piece rotors with six-piston calipers for outstanding heat management
and thermal capacity and longevity.
The unrivaled four-door performance numbers tell an impressive story with
the quarter mile in 11.0 seconds, 0-100-0 mph in under 13 seconds, and a
top speed of 204 mile per hour (mph).
The 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat’s restyled driver-focused interior features
premium, soft-touch materials, a new 7-inch thin-film transistor (TFT)
customizable digital instrument gauge cluster and a new instrument panel
center stack with the latest generation 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen media
New for 2015, drivers can select one of the many offered backgrounds to
connect the digital look and feel with their chosen interior package. In
addition, the Charger SRT Hellcat comes standard with a premium 900 watt,
18-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system.
An all-new and class-exclusive electronic shifter with an all-new
driver-oriented T-handle provides the driver with intuitive gear selection
and offers an Auto Stick selector gate for added control.
The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will be built at the Brampton (Ont.)
Assembly plant. Production is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2015.
