When I first start it with a cold engine it always dies out. Second time around it will stay alive but almost choke as you can see. After that the idle is very unstable

Sprint Booster Throttle Remapper for BMW
Sprint Booster is a fully-reversible, quick and easy to install modification for your vehicle that will greatly improve the way your vehicle feels to the driver.
Consumers interested in vehicle performance, however, want to have direct control over vehicle acceleration. By installing the sprint Booster throttle remapper, the CPU chip inside the sprint Booster does these three things:
1) Eliminating the lag between pedal input and throttle response, making for more immediate vehicle response when you press on the pedal.
2) Removes the restriction on throttle opening, now the throttle can open up to 33% wider, allowing for more power to be generated at lower RPM ranges. It does not increase overall horsepower, just where this horsepower is made.
3) Linearly maps the pedal depression to throttle opening. Press the pedal down 20% and the throttle will open 20%. Press the pedal down 50% and the throttle will open 50%. Without sprint Booster, when you depress the pedal 20% the throttle may open 10%, when you press down 40% it may open 25% and when you press down 100% it may open 75%. This is not linear and is not a natural way of driving.

First test run before final reassembly, all pixels are finally back. Materials used: enameled copper magnet wire 38 gauge, soldered to the PCB and glued with Wire Glue (carbon based) to the panel. A thin layer of epoxy to seal the glued wires. Procedure is as follows:
1. Remove the OEM cable, keep it for reference.
2. Clean both the panel and the board; credit card works well.
3. Cut enough wires to length, about 180 wires roughly 1" long, the shorter the better.
4. Expose copper from enamel on both ends of all wires (I used solder bath for that).
5. Set your panel so it won't move, use a strip of double-sided sticky tape to hold your wires when you gluing them until the glue is dry.
6. Glue all wires, make sure there are no shorts.
7. Solder all to the board and test.
8. Apply a thin layer of epoxy over the glued wires to seal them permanently.
9. Modify the supporting white plastic piece so that it doesn't push on the PCB board where the wires are now soldered. Basically the areas where the rubber goes need to be ground off.
10. Assemble and enjoy!

Intelligent daytime running light
"Intelligent" daytime running lights to the fog lights, automatically switches to light in the passing beam lamps when driving during the lamp-ignition time and the fog lights turn off automatically, and vice versa!
The law says that fog lights may be used as daytime running lights, but both (main-beam + fog lights) should not be used simultaneously unless there is reduced visibility, fog lamps also must not be used as daytime running lamps in the ignition time!

All this takes the "smart" daytime running light module into account, (no more stupid penalties for driving with the passing beam + the fog lights lit simultaneously ).... the original rain sensor is used as light sensor (only for models with the rain sensor) ...
