Fat Capri Cruising up the M40
Here I am cruising up the M40 driving nice and slow so my mate Colin can grab this bit of video from Cliff's VW Camper! There's no truth in the rumour that I'm keeping to the left of my lane to dodge bits falling off the Camper :-)
The sharp-eyed among you will see I've removed the blower to make the car more driveable - it may go back on when I have more time to fiddle, but at the moment it's great to have a drive-anywhere car! Satin black paint is new too. Long live Mad Max and the last of the V8 Interceptors.

This is my old capri 2.0S with cosworth 2.0 YB engine, t5 gearbox and atlas 3.44 + zf motorsport lsd rear axle. Earlier the engine gave 364 hp but after rebuild with wrc-pistons, long H-profile rods, ported head + bd16 cams it has not been Dynoed yet. Let´s see after turbo swap.
The guitar player is my relative. His playing and this Deep Purple`s old song sounds good to me and hope you like it too.

Please note, this is not some tarted-up, so-called restoration; this vehicle drives, rides, handles and looks like a nearly new Capri, with only a few imperfections and limited modifications such as a Momo period-correct steering wheel. If you want the Capri from your past, without the expense (and headaches) of a costly restoration, this Capri is for you. Only a handful of imported European
Mk. 1 Capris (1970-1973) in the U.S. are in this stunning condition. First place winner at several car shows.
