Australian B grade movie from the late '80s. Plot, acting and dialogue were all pretty bad. It featured rising star Jon Blake who ended up with horrific injuries while working on his next film. The good guys drove a real Shelby Cobra, COB 6043 I think is it's serial number. There's some great Aussie cars in it too.

One Lap Race of Bathurst - Speed Comparison between Holdens - Peter Brock Mark Skaife
A one lap race at Mount Panorama, Bathurst between a 1979 Holden A9X Torana, a 2004 Holden VZ SS Commodore & a 2004 Holden VZ Commodore V8 Supercar.
It's interesting to see how far racing technology has progressed.
The V8 Supercar happens to be the same car as my 1/6th Radio controlled version, as featured in some of my other clips.
Ford Falcon 351-GT Moffat race cars.wmv
The Ford GT club put on a Ford GT Muscle Car day so I had a trip to heaven today when I went down to Maroochydore to see the Allan Moffat race cars along with a heap of other FORD & Falcon 351-GT's & GTHO's.
Many of these cars are worth $100,000's & the race cars are easily worth $1,000,000 yet people drive their cars on the road. I was amazed! Most of Moffat's cars were driven to the display although they didn't have far to go. They all live at Buderim.
The 1971 Ford Falcon XY GTHO phase 3 gave Moffat his first Australian Touring Car title in group 3 racing in 1973 & the first year a Ford Falcon won the Touring Car Championship.
Ah.......... to return to those heady days...............
