Infiniti Intelligent All-Wheel Drive
Infiniti's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive provides power and support where and when you need it, instantly adapting to the changing conditions of the road. By constantly monitoring wheelspin, throttle position and vehicle speed, this system automatically diverts up to 50% of the available power to the front wheels, enhancing traction and control when conditions are less than optimal. When all-wheel drive is not needed, the system sends 100% of the power to the rear wheels for more responsive road performance. http://www.infiniti.com

2016 Infiniti QX70 - Vehicle Phonebook (if so equipped)
"There are two ways to update the vehicle’s phonebook, automatically or manually. If compatible, the phonebook entries on your phone will begin transferring to the vehicle immediately after the phone is first connected. If this doesn’t happen automatically, you can take a few simple steps to initiate the process. Press the SETTING button on the control panel and then touch the PHONE key on the display screen. The AUTO DOWNLOADED key should have an amber indicator next to the word ON. Touch this key to toggle the feature on if necessary. Up to 1000 entries can be automatically transferred to the vehicle. These entries can be accessed by touching PHONEBOOK on the phone main menu screen. The Voice Recognition system assigns tags to these entries for voice command dialing. The entire transfer process can take up to five minutes to complete, depending on the size of the handset phonebook. For more information, please see the manufacturer’s Owner’s Manual that came with your cellular phone. If the phonebook does not automatically download, you can manually create entries in the QUICK DIAL. To do this, press the PHONE/SEND button on the steering wheel and then touch QUICK DIAL on the display screen. Next, touch the ADD NEW key and choose a method for entering a phone number. For example, touch ENTER NUMBER BY KEYPAD to input the phone number using a keypad on the touchscreen. Once the number is entered, touch VOICETAG to record a voicetag for dialing with the Voice Recognition system. After the phonebook entry is saved, a screen appears that allows you to call the number. Touch BACK to return to the QUICK DIAL and repeat the steps for each number you’d like to store. Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations and additional operating information. "

2016 Infiniti QX70 - Speaker Adaptation (if so equipped)

Touch the VOICE RECOGNITION key, then touch the SPEAKER ADAPTATION key. The Speaker Adaptation function can memorize the voices of up to three users. Touch USER 1, USER 2 or USER 3. Touch “Start Speaker Adaptation Learning”. Next, select a category from the list on the screen by touching one of the following: ● Phone ● Navigation ● Information ● Audio ● Help The voice commands in the chosen category are displayed. Touch a command on the screen. After the tone sounds and the mouth on the voice icon on the screen changes from closed to open, speak the command. If the system has learned the command correctly, the voice command indicator on the screen turns on. Touch the BACK key to return to the previous screen and repeat the process for other voice commands. Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations and additional operating information. "

Please see your Owner’s Manual or the “Vehicle Phonebook” chapter in the “Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System with Navigation” section of this electronic quick reference guide for information on downloading your phonebook. A variety of additional commands are available, including: ● “Places”, for setting as the destination a point of interest near the current vehicle location, ● “Traffic Information”, to turn the traffic information system on and off, and ● “[Audio Source]”, for example “Bluetooth Audio” or “XM”, to switch the audio system to that source. While in Alternate Command Mode the system will not announce or display any of the available commands. To become familiar with the Alternate Command Mode commands, press the TALK button on the steering wheel and say “Help” after the tone. The system will display the command list main menu.
