[31-Mar-2010] Hyundai Motor America debuted its 2.0 liter GDI engine in the 2011 Sonata at the New York Auto Show. With the addition of the 2.0-liter Theta II turbocharged GDI engine, the 2011 Sonata offers fuel efficiency and power. The vehicle gets an estimated 34 mpg highway rating and has 274 horsepower, and produces these metrics on regular fuel. This is the first Hyundai vehicle to have both GDI technology and a turbocharger.

[02-Apr-2010] At the 2010 New York Auto Show, Hyundai will introduce to North America its all-new flagship, the 2011 Equus sedan. Hyundai plans to have the Equus compete with the best luxury sedans in the world on all levels including amenities, performance, advanced technologies, design and ownership experience. The model is expected to arrive at Hyundai dealerships late this summer.

I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. I shot this at the San Jose Auto Show on 1/8/11. This is a walk around of the exterior and interior of the car. The car is such a looker! Very impressive! MSRP, according to the representative is $25k!
This is Hyundai's first hybrid vehicle, and EPA estimate is 29/40 for city/highway. Very impressive!
